Scream For Me (Scream 5)- Chad Meeks

--Attack In The School--

It was Wednesday evening. Maya was finishing up a routine with her cheer team. She checked her watch to see how long they had left of practice. They only had five minutes left. Maya tsked at the fact she couldn't finish up the routine. But figured she'd be able to finish it next week.

"Ok ladies let's just finish up here for today. Good job everyone." Maya said letting everyone head to the locker room.

Maya decided that she would just shower here before heading to Chad's house. She hadn't been home since the incident. Maya told her Mom that she was spending a few days with Chad due to everything and her Mom went along with it because she was worried for her daughter's safety at home alone.

Her mother always worked nights and when she came home she would just knock out until she had to return to the hospital. She never wandered into Maya's room so she didn't have to worry about her seeing that chaos.

As she finished up in the shower she heard the door of the room close. She stepped out and wrapped a towel around her body while checking to see if anyone was left.

She was the last one. Great.

Maya quickly went to her locker grabbing everything she needed to get changed.

Every few seconds she would hear a noise coming from somewhere which had her on edge.

Then her phone rang. She picked it up to check who it was. It was Chad.

"Hey babe I'm about five minutes away, Just make sure you are outside waiting ok." His voice rings out through the phone.

Maya lets out a verbal sigh her heart finally slowing down at the sound of his voice. "Yeah, yeah just hurry ok. This place is creepy as fuck when you're alone."

"Ok, I'll be there soon. Love you."

" Love you too, bye." She hung up the phone before turning and getting changed. As she puts on her hoodie her phone rings again.

She picks it up not checking who had actually called her.

"Chad please just hur-"

"This isn't Chad, Maya. Haven't you learned not to answer the phone to strangers." The recognizable Ghostface voice calls out.

She stood in fear for a short while she knew that after what happened to Tara these calls were not going to end at the hang-up button. It ended with the slash of a knife.

Maya decided if she just ran for it she would be fine.

Right?

She grabbed her bag and ended the call, running down the corridor of the school. The lights were all off which didn't make any sense.

Where the fuck was the janitor. He was the only other person in the building at this time.

She grabbed her phone out of her pocket to shine a light in front of her so she knew where she was going.

She bolted toward the exit. It was right in front of her. If she hurried and she would be fine.

All of a sudden she slipped on something wet. She knocked her phone out of her hand in the process. Maya quickly grabbed her phone to check what she had just slipped in.

She lifted up her hand and put it in front of the flashlight. It was blood, she had slipped in someone's blood.

Maya let out a horrifying scream before turning to her side to see the body of the janitor with his eyes open in terror. She let out another horrifying shriek before standing up as fast as she could and turning to face the door.

However, she knocked into a body the moment she turned around. She flashed the camera at the figure seeing the white mask and automatically knowing who it was.

It was fucking Ghostface.

She tried to turn away from them but they grabbed her arm before she could and threw her to the ground. Maya stopped herself from faceplanting on the ground by putting both her arms out in front of her.

She tried to stand up as fast as she could but as she was doing so a big combat boot slammed down on her arm breaking any bone under it.

The pain that surged through Maya's body was excruciating but, she knew she had to fight with everything that was left within her.

She turned around to face the figure And before she could fully comprehend what was happening, they grabbed their knife and slashed it across her face. She felt the blood pour from her cheek, but she couldn't stop now.

She lifted her leg and kicked the person right in the stomach with a great amount of force. They slammed into the wall and Maya used this as her opportunity to run for the fucking hills.

She stood up and put her agility to the test. She ran down the corridor to the right trying to lose the person who was attacking her.

She tried a few classroom doors but all of them were locked. She finally found one that was open, and she ran into it quietly, closing the door behind her so that they couldn't hear.

The whole place was silent apart from the sound of footsteps coming down the corridor.

Then her phone started ringing and lit up with the name Chad. Fuck. She forgot to put it on silent.

Then the door started to get kicked in from behind her. She stood watching Ghostface slamming into the door. She had run out of ideas by now. She had nowhere else to go.

She was going to die.

Then she looked over toward the door and saw the fire alarm. She ran over and pulled it. She knew that Chad was probably outside and that he would hear it and come to help her. She just hoped he would be quick enough.

The annoying wails of the alarm rang through the whole school. Just as she stepped back Ghostface got inside. They ran towards her pushing away any tables that were in the way.

She tried to get away but the tables were being moved into her path so she had no way out. They grabbed her probably broken arm and she let out a scream.

As she did she heard a voice calling out in the distance.

"Maya, Fuck. Where are you!" Chad called out seeming to be at the entrance of the school.

"Chad, Help me!" Maya cried out tears streaming down her face and mixing with the gushing blood on her cheek.

Ghostface flung her to the floor. She hit her head on a table that was in her way.

All she thought about was how she never got to say goodbye to anyone before she died.

Ghostface bent down in front of her before starting up some device within the costume. Probably to imitate the voice.

"Don't worry Maya, I'm not going to kill you just yet this was just a teaser for what's to come." They said before running towards the window opening it and escaping.

Maya's eyes started to close but she looked towards the door to see Chad running in.

"Oh fuck, Maya, stay with me baby," Chad said running over to her.

Before he got to her, her eyes closed. The noise around her fell into silence.

All she could think about was how her life was becoming a horror movie.
