Scream For Me (Scream 5)- Chad Meeks

--Schoolyard Chats--

Maya wakes up in Chad's bed with the sun shining through the window. As she feels around the bed to find him she realizes he is already up. After a few minutes of contemplating, she decided it was time to get up and ready for a dreadful day at school.

She walks into the kitchen of the Meeks' household and is greeted by Martha and Chad. The smell of fresh pancakes on the tip of her nose.

"Oh honey, I've made your favorite. Pancakes!" Martha calls out excitedly to the girl who was sitting at the kitchen table.

Martha placed the plate of pancakes in front of the young girl. Maya thanked her in return. Chad was sitting beside her with his arm around her chair, devouring the pancakes made for him.

"Did you sleep ok after everything?" Chad asked the girl sitting beside him.

"Yup." She says looking down at her pancakes. She was lying. They sat up talking about what had happened to Tara. She sat up awake with Chad laying beside her knocked out. Maya fell asleep for a total of an hour all night.

However, as the lie seeped through her lips Chad automatically knew she was lying. She could never directly look at him when she was. He decided to leave it though as Maya did not like to be confronted about lying.

She sat staring at her pancakes not feeling hungry due to the fear that was coursing through her body. She sucked it up though as hurting the feelings of Martha Meeks was worse than anything right now.

As she swallowed down the first pancake Mindy walks into the kitchen grabbed herself a plain pancake and sat up on the kitchen counter. Martha quickly taps her daughter off of the kitchen top.

Mindy sits across from Chad and Maya. She looks up at the girl across from her.

"Jesus M you look like shit," Mindy states while eating her pancake out of her hand.

Maya glares over at Mindy.

"What the fuck Mindy" Chad calls out from beside Maya.

"What! I'm sorry for being honest with my friend." Mindy shrugs.

Maya stands up and goes to clean her plate. "Well, I appreciate your honesty." She says as she splashes Mindy in the face with water.

"Ok well let me take you home to grab some fresh clothes," Chad says walking over and putting his hand on Maya's lower back.

"What are you saying that I stink? You would still love me though right?" Maya says leaning into Chad's face.

"Unlike you, I actually would still love you." He kisses her gently on the lips.

"Sure you would" Maya replies sarcastically kissing him back.

"Ew get out," Mindy says waving the couple towards the door.

"Love you too Mindy. Thank you for the pancakes, Martha." Maya says taking Chad's hand and heading towards the door.

"Anytime Maya, we love having you around," Martha replies waving the pair goodbye.

"We really do" Mindy calls out from behind. Sometimes Maya would come around and the pair would binge horror movies. It was their favorite genre. It was safe to say that the whole Meeks family loved her company.

By the time they pulled up to Maya's house, they only had a short amount of time before school started.

"Maybe you should wait here. I'll only be a few minutes." She says getting out of the car. She remembered the state her room was in since the surprise visit from a special guest. Maya would rather not have her boyfriend see this and have more issues on her plate.
