This Kid is a Vigilante!?

8: Hero-Cat

"Eraserhead!?"

The kid stared at Aizawa in disbelief. The hero blinked, deactivating his quirk, and turned back to a smiling Nezu. There was a moment of silence before the kid finally sighed deeply.

"Well, this isn't how I was expecting to get caught, but seeing as Eraser here knows who I am, I suppose there is no point in hiding it anymore."

Nezu chuckled at the vigilante, "I suppose that is true, and I admit I am curious, but are you ready to share now? I am sure Aizawa here will have lots of questions."

Loki glanced over at the hero-cat and nodded slowly, "You can translate for now and it's not like I plan to disappear, so he can ask more later. It's not like I could be arrested anyways."

The last bit was whispered to himself, but both Aizawa and Nezu heard it with their sensitive hearing. While Nezu perked up in interest, glancing over at Aizawa with a questioning brow, the hero could only sigh and nod, "it's the truth."

With confirmation, Nezu turned back to the vigilante with a small gesture, "Whenever you are ready Loki."

Midoriya took a deep breath before he began to slowly take off his mask and visor, placing both down, before throwing off his hood. He stuck out a hand and grinned. "Nice to officially meet you, I'm Midoriya Izuku!"

Aizawa squinted at the kid's beaming smile. If he didn't know for a fact that Midoriya was quirkless, he might think it had to do with his glowing smile. However, Nezu wasn't taken aback at all, he simply reached out a paw to shake in the kid's hand. "The pleasure is mine Midoriya-kun, it's wonderful to meet the person behind the mask."

"Please sir, call me Izuku, same for you Eraser."

"Then feel free to simply call me Nezu."

With a small glance, Aizawa could see the flood of questions that his boss was about to unleash, so he intervened, "Nezu." When the mammal meet his eyes, the hero continued, "ask why he can't be arrested."

The chimera nodded and Aizawa smirked, already knowing the answer. He just wanted to see Nezu's reaction.

"Now Izuku, what was this about you not being able to be arrested."

Midor- Izuku's eyes widened for a moment before he sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, "Ah so you could hear that." He paused, seeming to gather his thoughts, before a smirk spread across his face. "Well Nezu, first of all, I never attacked the villain's I fight first, they always make the first move, thus all my actions are in self-defense."

Nezu nodded as Izuku's smirk grew and he leaned back onto the couch. "And, I cannot be charged for vigilantism." When the principal leaned forward in inquiry, Izuku followed the motion as the looked directly into he chimera's eyes. "I am quirkless."

Oh, how Aizawa relished in his boss's shocked expression. In fact, it was making him even more eager to see his co-workers' reaction to this kid. No doubt Zashi would scream, faint, or both. His loud blonde would be overdramatic, that's for sure.

Aizawa watched the two face each other down for a moment before Nezu grew a smile, one that most people would shiver at. But Aizawa was used to it and Izuku challenged the manic grin himself. Wait, will he become a mini Nezu?

As scared as the thought made him, the hero would support the kid if he decided to follow in his bosses footsteps (pawsteps?).

The three of them chatted for a few minutes, yes Aizawa did have questions for the kid, but he wanted to ask them himself when he was back to normal. Speaking of, Nezu had already found the kid who's quirk made him into a cat, informing them that he would be back to normal in 3 more days.

Now, Aizawa wasn't attached to the kid, at least, he wouldn't say he was out loud, but after a short talk with Nezu, he decided to stay with Izuku until he turned back. Based on when he sent Nezu a text right after the incident, they had a fairly accurate countdown, so Aizawa could head to UA when he turned back. Luckily, it would happen at night, so the kid could come with him.

He also, thankfully, knew where his capture scarf and googles were buried, so Loki and him stopped by to grab them before heading back to the apartment.

In a few days, Aizawa could finally ask the question he was itching for the kid to answer.
