This Kid is a Vigilante!?

15: Hero Start

The first day of UA was upon the family, and Aizawa was dreading his new class. He really hoped he could expel most of them so he could nap. Of course, he would never expel his problem child, but the less kids, the better. Aizawa pulled into his reserved parking spot with a sigh.

"-Sho eats a jelly packet every day ever since! I had to swoop in and save his poor eating habits myself!"

"Well... they do have proper nutrients and can be rather good."

"IZU! Don't encourage him."

Aizawa turned to look at his husband with an exasperated look. "If you are finished complaining about my eating habits, then we need to head in."

Hizashi was about to retort when Aizawa turned to his kid and ruffled his hair, "And your right problem child, I don't see what Zashi's problem is."

His husband gasped dramatically, ranting off about betrayal and despair while the three of them exited the car. Izuku met his eyes, amusement gleaming when he glanced back at Hizashi who was now wiping non-existent tears with his sleeves.

Their family finally made it to the teachers lounge where several teachers were already waiting. Hizashi was in the front and burst into the room, gaining all eyes as he wailed dramatically.

"NEM! WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS? SHO HAS CORRUPTED IZU AGAIN AN-"

Aizawa and Izuku shuffled in, both giving a small 'good morning that went unheard due to Hizashi's lamenting which drew amused eyes of the other teachers. Coffee was freshly made, he silently thanked whoever prepared it and left him a pot, so he grabbed two mugs and poured them full before handing one to Izuku.

"Thanks dad, so what's the plan for today? Fitness tests again?"

He raised an eyebrow at the kid who took a sip of his coffee with clear joy and relief as he closed his eyes and relaxed his shoulders. Maybe Hizashi was somewhat right, when did problem child become a smaller version of him? Well, one that smiled more and was somehow not as tired all the time. Just how did the kid have so much energy after their six-hour patrols?

He shook his head fondly with a hum. "I already have your scores from a few weeks ago, but I want you to participate as well."

Problem child smiled slyly, "You mean you want me to kick ass and knock them down a peg."

"Language."

"You never complain when we patrol!"

A few minutes later and Hizashi was finally done whining, instead talking with Nem and Izuku about some new equipment he got for his radio show. Of course, they were talking together around his desk while he was trying to go through his student files one last time. He sighed, hiding a small smile in his scarf.

Aizawa stayed behind Izuku who was staring up at the 1-A door with wide eyes. He couldn't help but chuckle and ruffle his kid's fluffy green hair.

"I'll come in a bit after you Izu."

"Want to test them already?" His child smirked teasingly at him.

"Of course."

There was a moment of silence between them as loud voices came from the other side of the door. Great, he had loud students that sound like they are already tearing apart the classroom.

With one last deep breath, Problem child opened the door, the noise fell for a moment before the loudest voice from earlier rang out. The voice of the kid he once clawed as a cat years ago.

"DEKU?!"

Yup, this was going to be a long year.

A/N: Thank you all so much for reading! This book has been a blast to write, and I had a lot of fun with a shorter chapter/story format rather than my usual thousands of words chapters. I have a lot some other story ideas to make but-

2 quick notes before I sign off: 

1. Why is Bakugo there? Long story short, Izuku 'disappeared' a year ago from Aldera (when Aizawa adopted him) before it was sued so Bakugo assumed the worst, then Nezu struck a deal that if he showed improvement in therapy by the Entrance Exams, then he was allowed to participate. Don't worry, Aizawa still doesn't like him at first :)

2. Sine people liked this story so much, I am debating making a sequel story where the whole Bakugo thing will be expanded upon and it would be like a lot of fluff with some angst as people (Bakugo and All Might) try to redeem themselves to Izuku while he just loves his family and kicks ass in classes. But I will need some time before I start writing it, so look forward to a new story sequel in a few weeks or so. I'll be adding a new 'chapter' to this story about it when it is up!
