To say Aizawa was furious would be the understatement of the year.

How dare that buffoon of a number one hero screw up this bad? Was he really just that dumb? That ignorant? He was a hero; he has been a hero for decades! He should know better than that.

After the exams, Aizawa had pulled aside All Might and asked where he knew Izuku from and the man explained their meeting. How he saved the kid from a sludge villain almost 2 years ago and how he had asked if he could be a hero. When the hero got to that part, he at least had the decency to look nervous and a bit ashamed for having told the kid no before leaving to turn in the villain, but he pushed on that he was just trying to keep him safe.

Aizawa had scoffed, "Safe? You crushed a kid's dreams, a kid who, mind you, was clearly being bullied. If being quirkless, in this day, wasn't a big red flag, then his mannerisms should have been or even his scars."

The number one hero looked down sheepishly before speaking up again, "Being a hero is dangerous and he doesn't have a quirk to defend himself, so I thought th-"

"No" Aizawa snarled, cutting him off, "you clearly didn't think." Suddenly, the tired hero froze as something dawned on him and made him grit his teeth in barely contained anger. "Did... did you leave him on that rooftop after?"

The number one idiot looked at him confused, "The stairs were right there, it's not like I locked him up there, and I thought he needed some time to think."

If he wasn't a hero with some strict morals (and laws) to abide by, Aizawa would have fought this blockhead right here and now. Instead, he took a deep breath to calm his anger a bit. It didn't do much.

"Are you a fucking idiot?" Aizawa's voice was low and threatening. All Might swallowed and opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by the other once again.

"You left a child who was bullied, mistreated by every adult in his life, and constantly told to go kill himself by his peers alone on a rooftop after crushing his dreams." All Might paled slightly. Good.

"You are lucky that Izuku has a heart of steel and didn't take that one step."

While the blond hero was pale and gapping like a fish in shock at this revelation, Aizawa took his leave before he 'accidentally' got physical. Instead of losing his license for punching the number one hero, he went to find his problem child.

He planned to get the story from his kid's side as well when he could.

As Aizawa approached the teacher's lounge, he smiled softly. Several voices were sounding from inside amongst which were his husband and Izuku who seemed to be arguing over... something. He realized they must have pulled out Monopoly again. How he regretted letting Zashi buy it for the teachers.

Slowly opening the door, voices growing louder and clearer, no one noticed him at first and he sighed.

"Izu! How could you do this to me?!"

"No mercy, not even for you Pa, Auntie."

"Zuku! But I gave helped you get that land earlier!"

"Sorry Auntie... you should never have trusted a villain! Hahaha!"

"No! Izu! You- SHOU, OUR SON IS A VILLAIN! PLEASE HELP US GET HIM BACK TO THE RIGHT PATH!"

Aizawa sighed before trudging over to his son. Ruffling Izuku's hair, Aizawa smirked, "Good going problem child, let's show them how evil us villains can be."

Izuku gave him a big, but slightly sharp, smile while Hizashi and Nem both gasped loudly.

"SHOU!" Zashi slammed his face to the table and began to bang his hand against it. "THE BETRAYAL, HOW DARE YOU BOTH LEAVE ME?"

Nem brought a hand over her mouth, looking distraught and giving a dramatic sniffle. "We lost them both to the dark side."

The game continued with Aizawa assisting Izuku's domination of the monopoly world until he owned nearly every piece of land while Zashi and Nem were wailing like children across from them.

By the time they were finished and Izuku had claimed the monopoly crown, most teachers had already left. (And yes, Zashi insisted on getting an actual plastic crown for the winner to claim until the next game. Aizawa had it last after Izuku subtly helping him. Zashi and Nem were none the wiser.)

The four of them went home (Nem came with) and upon deciding that everyone was too lazy to cook (or betrayed as Zashi put it), they ordered pizza and put on a movie. Before they knew it, everyone was asleep on the couch with pillows, blankets, and cats.

Aziawa smiled at his family and best friend before drifting off himself.

'I feel like I forgot something...'
