"Would you stop moving your eyes" Indigo hissed.
I scoff at Indigo it wasn't like I was trying to move my eyeballs. If she wasn't jamming the make up thingy onto my eyelid so hard both of us wouldn't be having this problem.
I sighed this was torture. A huge part of me didn't even want to go to this stupid thing anyway considering that fact that my so called mate was bringing another girl to the darn thing.
Suddenly I felt a twinge of pain on my left arm as Indigo's hands connect with my skin I scold her though closed eyes wishing that she could see the cold stare that was directed towards her.
"What did you do that for!" I exclaimed.
I heard her release a sharp breath "I told you to stop moving."
I frowned it was times like this that I wished Pink wasn't in my bathroom getting ready she'd left me alone with Indigo for 12 minutes and this is the fifth time she hit me.
I swing at her aiming blindly, yet successfully as this was also my Fifth time hitting her. I hear her wince at the pain that resulted from my hands slap on her arm... Gosh I hope it was her arm.
I heard a door slam coming from the far corner in my room opposite from my balcony, the one that lead to my bathroom.
"Ugh if you two don't stop with the nagging and slapping, I swear I'll..." Pink's venomous growl was cut short as Indigo dared to continue her sentence.
"You swear you'll what?" Indigo said.
" I'll slap the living daylights out of both of you! " Pink shot back sounding unfazed by Indigo's response.
" Whatever", Indigo said after an extreme moment of silence.
I simply shrugged not in the mood to talk anymore.
"Good" Pink said her voice full of satisfactory. "Well, we're leaving in an hour. So IndigoI hope you finished Isa's make up because it's my turn to do yours." And just like that Indigo's presence was no longer in my space bubble and I opened my eyes relieved, however, not as relieved as I was when I took a glance in the mirror.
My brief thoughts of Indigo not being able to finish my make up vanished, as I stared in awe at the beautiful girl looking at me through the mirror. Maybe Indigo wasnt half bad.
"OK Snow White stop looking at yourself in the mirror and put your dress on we don't have much time" Indigo said quickly bursting my happy mood. She had that kind of effect on people.
I scolded at her again, probably for the billionth time today and proceeded to put on the dress we bought at the mall the other day. As I pulled the dress on, I paused. I felt a brief feeling of deja vu wash over me. The last time I were a dress it was at the Mates Ball back when I had friends and family who cared.
I never did shake of that feeling of sadness that night, even as I entered the new ballroom that indeed contained my one and only soulmate. I guess it was my attitude that was first to go south on that day.

When we arrived, I stepped out of our limo immediately pasting a plastic smile on my face. I followed Pink and Indigo, as they headed towards the large building's entrance from outside. I could not tell if the building was pure beauty or a simple plain sky scraper, thanks to the darkness from the sky.

As soon as the double doors opened, my ears were hit with the sound of elegant ball music. I could not pin point where the sound was coming from so I continued to follow Pink. And eventually we all stood on the opposite side of doors that led to the ballroom, to the music. I was almost positive that my mate was on the other side, as the moon goddess was continuously shouting mate in my ear. I had no doubt that my mate knew of my presence here; if the moon goddess knew then his wolf knew.

The doors swung open on their own and Indigo proceeded to step in with Pink following her on her heel after a single moment of hesitation I followed too.
As if we were in a movie the whole room seemed to freeze, all eyes turning to look at me. I guess this is what happens when you're the moon goddess.

I inhaled and exhaled slowly preparing myself to descend down the grand staircase. If this Ball didn't remind of the Mates Ball then I don't know what did.

I quickly spotted Forest and Maroon as they stood directly at the bottom of the staircase. My plastic smile resembled somewhat of an actual smile at the sight of them.

After what felt like ages, I made it down the stairs. And although it felt as if it took hours I know that it only took a few seconds, meaning that everyone's eyes were still on me. I sighed this was going to be a long night.

I laughed quietly only wishing to let out a humongous roar. Ever have those moments where your friend tells this hilarious joke and you can't even laugh at it properly because of the setting that your in. Well that's what I'm dealing with right now. Darn Maroon and his stupid joke.

I felt a slight tap on my shoulder, and I swirled around swiftly. I then came face to face with Black. And I scolded him. He was late and he was supposed to be my date! He gave me a weak smile and shrugged "In my defense I wasn't late. I was helping Peach set up in the kitchen and you know there's not much that I can do when it comes to Peach and her orders."

I smiled back at him in return. I knew that he was right, so I sighed making it evident that I forgave him.
And he smiled instantly at me, "OK so do you want to dance?"
I smiled at him and nodded my head. Realizing that I'd been in the stupid ballroom for about an hour, and I had only stood watching as everyone one else danced, as I stuffed my face with the yummy refreshments.

Blacks hand found its way into mine, as he lead me to the dance floor. I felt a little nervous, considering the fact that I don't know how to Walt's or tango or any of the other ballroom dances. I didn't even recognize any of the music that was being blasted through the large speaker.
But I didn't worry to much knowing that Black would not do anything to embarrass me. So I let him take that lead and before you knew it I was waltzing.

I huge grin was planted on my face, as I looked up to see Black's amused facial expression. I rolled my eyes and sighed "Stop looking at me like that."

Black let out a chuckle, " I can't help it. You look like a five year old on Christmas day."

I removed my hand from where it was rested on his shoulder and swatted him in the arm.
"Shut up" I said annoyed, yet still smiling. He shrugged and placed my hand back on his shoulder.
" Wow, Isa I'd say your pretty brave dancing with me here in the middle of the dance floor. I'm surprised your mate hasn't attacked me yet." He said giving me a breathtaking smile.
My eyes widened. I had completely forgotten about my mate. Instantly, I let go of Black's hand and his shoulder. I searched all around the room anxious to find him. But I probably looked like a lunatic as I swirled around, until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around quickly to come face to face with Black. " He's right there how did you look right passed him." He said gesturing towards someone.
I swiftly assumed my attention to where his hand was pointing at and instantly my eyes connected with him.
From what I've heard of, his name is Silver. I could feel tingles running up and down my skin and I felt a specific spot on neck heat up at the sight of his intense stare. He was so... Perfect. I searched my mate anxiously trying to find a flaw but I found nothing. His hazel eyes were literally piercing into my soul. And suddenly I felt uncomfortable.
I shook my head bringing myself out of my thoughts. And I frowned. How could this guy have been my mate? I'd seen him a million times tonight already, and he'd always been with another girl. Why was I just now feeling a connection towards him.
I removed my eyes from my mouthwatering mate to look at Black. His worried facial expression resembled my own, as if he were reading my thoughts.

There was something wrong with our mate bond.
