I wrote this chapter in a bittersweet/humors manner, so please read it with this in mind. Hope you like it.

*NEW YEARS TIME*

I crossed my arms, rolling my eyes, as Black gave me a full on lecture.

"Isa! You've been here for what? About a hundred and eighty-six days now? And how many times have I told you to never, ever leave our city's perimeter. You're supposed to be someone that everyone looks up to. You're the Moon Goddess. I don't know what you were thinking when-"

Yeah, so that's when I tuned him out. I resumed my attention to the front desk where Peach was now standing with Pink and Indigo, negotiating with the store's manager. We all stood in a tiny gas station located right outside our city's boundary. As you can already guess, Indigo's plan to go shopping didn't go exactly as she thought it would.

After we left the city they took me to this huge mall probably about 6 miles away from home. There we got our nails done, hair done to be styled later, and Pink and Indigo both decided that it was a perfect time for me to get my eyebrows waxed. Let's just say, I planned on Killing them both when we got home. But sadly it looked like Black was going to beat me to it. On the way back, Indigo's car was on empty, and Pink had to use the restroom, so we stopped at the nearest gas station. Here the store's manager, Mr. Comrade over here, started to become a little too friendly towards Pink on her journey to the station's bathroom. And let's say one thing led to another, and well Pink might have lost control over her wolf, And Indigo might have thrown a few punches, leaving me to be the innocent stand byer. And honestly I don't know how they found out, but within twenty minutes Peach and Black and a few other wolves came to the rescue.

And yep everything you're probably wondering is true, Did Pink almost expose our kind? Yep. Are we in trouble? Yep. Did Indigo use her wolf to communicate with Black? You know I think so, I'm still deciding... Will we ever live to see the living daylights? Probably not?

I felt a slight punch on my right shoulder, knocking me out of my thoughts.

"Are you even paying attention?" I turned to see Black, who stared at me with furious eyes.

I simply smiled at him and punched him back. "Black calm down, there's no point in getting all worked up about it, it's over now. Besides it looks like Peach just about handled it." I said gesturing towards Peach who was now returning with Pink and Indigo. Behind them, Comrade stood with a frown on his face, but other than that he looked fine.

"Yeah she's right Black, There's no since at yelling at her now, we can always just yell at them when we get back."

Pink Indigo and I sighed at her response, walking out of the store followed by Black.

After walking the twenty five fights of stars, I entered my room. Once I shut the door, I flipped on the lights.

I just sat through another lecture from several of the towns warriors about our simple mistake. It seemed liked Black gathered most of the people there just so that they could be concerned about my well-being.

But I was fine.

I sighed annoyed at this. But as I walked to the bed I froze, startled by the figure that stood on my balcony.

Noticing my confusion, he slowly began to walk towards me. He continued walking until we were only a few inches away from each other.

"Black what are you doing here" I said frowning, still upset with him.

Black focused his attention towards the ground not making eye contact, " Look Isa, I'm not trying to lecture you. What I'm about to say I really mean it."

The crease between my eyebrows increased, confused by Black's words.

" I was only so worried today, because you are very important to me. I mean in after all your are my brothers mate. Its my job to protect you..."

I placed a hand on his shoulder, slightly frowning, no longer upset at him. I shook my head, " No Black it is not your job to protect me. It is mate's job. You. Shouldn't have to spend your time looking after your brothers mate. Which is why you should allow him to see me now."

Black shook his head," After you finished your first stage in development you were free to see each other" he explained concerned.

The confused frown I once wore before took its rightful place on my face. I shook the neglecting feeling off, showing Black a tiny smile.

I nudged him in the arm," Black I know that I mean a lot to you and this city, and I feel the same way in return. But don't tell me your going all soft on me?"

This made black laugh, " whatever", he said

I never knew I matter to Black so much, I guess he was like that overprotective relative that I never had.
