This is another AU-- Annabeth's POV
I never saw it coming.
I was just minding my own business, kissing my boyfriend, which was perfectly normal, when all of a sudden there was a noise behind us, and Luke sprang away from me to face the girl now glaring at him with electric blue eyes, a spiky black 'do and punk rock clothes.
I immediately liked her.
Luke started stuttering and mumbling, holding his hands out to her like she was an angry bull he had just provoked.
"Thalia, I-I- can explain! It's not-"
"Save it Luke." The new girl (Thalia) said. "I've had it with your lies. You've been acting weird since Jully. I was starting to think maybe you weren't right for me. But cheating? That's low."
She spun on her heel to leave Luke to 'explain' to me, when I spoke up, coming out of the shocked-trance I had been in since Thalia announced her presence.
"Hold up. What's this supposed to mean Luke? cheating? For the whole time I've known you? And you thought you would get away with it?" I glowered, and Luke turned to me, desperation straining his voice.
"Annabeth-"
But I wasn't listening. I was more interested in Thalia, who raised her eyebrow at me over Luke's ugly head.
"You mean this scum-y no good butt hole hasn't told you anything either?"
"Not a thing."
We took a moment to size each other up, nodded grimly, and turned our eyes back to our ex.
"You have until the count of three to get out of our sight."
Luke made the only smart choice. He was out of there before Thalia reached two.
A/N:
I feel kind of bad for making Luke such a Villan-y character, 'cause he was cool when he wasn't all creepy-possessed, but he definitely deserved to get his but kicked, and also, platonic Thalia/Annabeth :))))))
