Nico walked across the green to where Will Solace was waiting.

DON'T QUOTE ME I CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO CHECK THE BOOK

WILL

Nico walked back to Will, looking more than a little smug.

The stuttering Percy behind him was fun to see, He'd admit. And the grinning Annabeth who winked at Nico as he walked away. Or was it at Will? He was so confused.

Will had been learning to read people his whole life, (quickly picking up that it was easier to show people the relaxing, completely un-threatening side of yourself to calm them down, Even though with Nico it was the opposite. Will had to be hard and stubborn to get through to him.

It was kind of enjoyable.)

But even HE didn't understand that conversation. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Jason listening in too. And not hiding it very well for that matter.

All he got was;

Grinning Percy/Annabeth:
They had just delivered good news.

Mildly happy, hardly surprised Nico:
Congratulating them. But the news probably wasn't gossip worthy.

Cold, pensive-looking Nico:
Wondering if he should tell them something.

Talking Nico:
Admitting the something.

Confused Percy/Slowly happy Annabeth:
(That was the confusing part for Will, but Jason apparently understood by the way he was suddenly not squinting in confusion and grinning like a mad man. Will had to try not to scream.)

Percy slow blinking and getting cut off a few times by Nico, Nico and Annabeth High-fiving,

And then Nico was walking back looking a hundred times lighter, with a face like he had just walked out of an exploding building with sunglasses on.

Will tried to look like he hadn't been eavesdropping/staring like a creep.

Nico just smiled a small smile when he asked what they had been talking about.

"Ah, I'm sure you'll find out soon. So, to the infirmary?"

Will grudgingly let it go. Almost.

"Promise?"

Nico rolled his eyes. "Yes, Yes."

And under his breath Will thought he heard a muttered "You might even like it."

That just made him more confused and he resolved to just ask Jason later.

A/N:

This might be really bad, I haven't really run over it, but...
