The Garden Ch.3

Willow's pov.

Me and amity woke up to the sound of luz and hunter talking about something loudly me and amity walked down the stairs seeing luz say,"- and hunter sitting in a tree k i s s i-." Luz stopped when she saw me and amity walking towards the couch they were sitting at.

Luz was trying to explain and hunter was sitting in silence. I could tell he was blushing so I assumed he liked someone because of the song she was singing. "Hey where's gus." I added. "Oh he's still sleeping."I said,"I'll go wake h- " luz cuts me off saying,"NO- I mean me and amity will check on him" "oh ok thanks." I replied

When they left it was me and hunter left in the room. I walked towards him and sat on the couch.

It was awkward so I said,"Sooo what was that about?" He replied with,"O-oh it was nothing just luz being luz ahah" I could tell he was blushing when I talked about what happened this morning.

I asked,"Do you like someoneee? Luz was singing that song so I thought you do." When I looked at hunter he flushed red
I say,"YOU DO LIKE SOMEONE, I'm so happy for you hunter." He follows with the response,"can I te-" as soon as he started he got cut off by someone

It was a sleepy gus on the stairs with luz and amity holding gus while he was half asleep."Willow can you help us out?" luz said. "Oh definitely." I said in response. I yelled "GUS ITS MATTHOLOMULE." Gus suddenly jumped up and acted cool but was disappointed when it was a fluke.

Author's pov

"Ok we need to discuss how we're going to get back to the BI." Luz stated "And how exactly are we going to do that?"Hunter said. Luz responds with,"Well I'm not sure, anyone have any ideas?"

It was quiet till amity bursts out saying,"OH, remember when we went to the forbidden section in the library and we found old BI books, maybe the human realm has some books that review its history!"

"Great thinking Hermosa." Luz kisses amity on the cheek which leaves her stunned.

Willow replied,"maybe we should go tomorrow I mean we haven't adjusted and we barely figured out what the human realm has to offer."

Vee agreed and said,"yea and I'm just meeting you in person luz I think it will be fun to make today a sort-of free day you know?"

"Your right everyone you can look at my humble abode while me and ami are going to act out some Azura books, you can go explore just make sure vee or mama is ok with it. They all do a quick,"Ok." While they scattered around the house figuring out what they're going to do.

Willows pov

We scattered around the house figuring out what we could do till I found Camila outside tending some plants. I was intrigued by the fact the human realm had plants.

I went outside and walked towards Camila greeting her. "Willow, do you need something?" I replied with,"I was wondering if I could help out with the garden, if that's ok with you."

After a moment she responses,"Of course You can, I need a little help myself.

I felt a little relieved because I thought she would have a different response. "If you go in my room there's some gardening clothes in my closet, you can borrow them for now and when you get back there's tools in the shed.

I started to head back in and went up stairs to change.

Hunter's pov

I was getting snacks from the kitchen because me, vee and gus were playing something called game of living. gus got married and was arguing with vee to give him 400$ for his wedding gift but vee had 200$ so she would be in debt. I was waiting for my turn while I was sipping on a sweeter version of apple blood in a small container with a straw which I poked a hole through it.

I then saw someone who was coming down stairs it was willow in a outfit with blue overalls, a green shirt with a blue flower on it And a yellow sun hat.

I thought it matched her personality perfectly I could tell I was blushing alot I wanted to compliment her so I was going to say something but she walked out with excitement.

I wondered why she walked out that quickly. I turned back to vee with her hands on her face fake crying because gus stole her money,"Hey I'm going to go out for a bit"

"Are you going to play again?"vee asked. "probably not you can have my money if yo-" before I could finish my sentence vee took all if my money. I shugged my shoulder whilst heading outside.

Willows pov

I rushed outside seeing Camila tend some flowers. She turned seeing me,"oh my willow you look so cute in my outfit you should keep it."

I was surprised,"nooo I can't." "I insist" she said with a warm smile. As I rushed to the shed to get tools I peaked out to see Hunter and Camila chatting.

I walk out with some tools in my hands and when they saw me Camila starts with,"Oh willow, someone wants to talk to you." As I set down my tools I responded with, "oh hey hunter, you need something." He started talking,"O-oh I uhm wanted to tell you I liked your uhm outfit heh"

My eyes widened and I started to play with my hair."Oh uh thank you, I appreciate it."Camila was looking at us with a smile."Oh I have to go, something came up."

Willow can you finish planting the daisy's?"Camila said. I replied with,"Oh sure you can count on me."

And with that Camila went back inside. I sat down putting on my gloves pating down the dirt. Hunter sat next to me. He asked if he could help I responded with an ok. "You can start over there. I gently put my hat on his head and he went over to the place I told him

A few moments later and the whole garden was covered in flowers me and hunter sat next to a tree in exhaustion.
Hunter asks,"Hey willow can I ask you something? "Of course." "I was just wanted to know if you liked me, as a friend." I awnsered quickly,"Of course I do, hunter your a good person, I love being your friend. Why are you asking?"
Oh uhm no reason, I just wanted to know." "Oh ok." I looked over to the sunflowers and thought of something you know, you kinda remind me of a s-ur-n flower? It's yellow like your hair. I plucked a flower out of the ground and placed a seed to grow it back. I went back to hunter and placed it behind his ear.

I caught hunter looking at me till amity called us for dinner I didn't know but my face started feeling hot as we went inside.

When we ate dinner I started heading to my room, amity held me up and asked,"why were you outside with hunter for that long?" Oh we just-" I thought about it realizing what I did turning bright pink. "OHITWASNOTHINGIMEANMEANDHUNTERPFFTWEREJUSTFRIENDS." "Oh I see what's going on now." "Wdym?" "Oh you'll find out."

I was in my bed and Oh titan it felt like I was up all night thinking about what amity said,"Oh you'll find out." It was echoing through my brain. I mean hunter is a really good friend and friends don't feel that right? I'll just see how this plays out.
