"Awe damn it that should have gone in!" One of Josh's friend, Mark, yelled as the ping pong ball he threw bounced off the rim of the red solo cup.

"Watch and learn" Josh said, he threw the ball and it splashed into the last remaining cup on the other side of the table. They had playing beer pong for the past half hour, Josh had teamd up with Adelaide while Cherry partnered up with one of Josh's buddies.

"We'll get you next time," Mark promised.

"Yeah yeah, Ill belive it when I see it." Josh taunted. "Adelaide want another drink?"

"Yeah sure," she said. "Nothing with too much alcholo please,"

Josh went with Mark to go get some more drinks.

"Its going well right? I dont think hes even looked at another girl since we got here." Cherry asked Adelide in an excited whisper.

"Hes been really great."

The two girls talked untill Mark and Josh got back. "Some damn grease crashed the party." Josh said as he took a sip from his cup.

"Oh dont let a few greasers ruin our fun." Adelaide said and put her hand on his arm.

Josh handed Adelaide a red cup. "Here you go babe,"

"Thank you" She took a sip of the lemonade. She after looking at how many calories were in the alcoholic drinks she had decided to stay sober.

"Wanna play another round?" Mark asked.

This time Mark and Cherry won, Josh declined a third round and asked Adelaide if she wanted to go for a walk. She agreed.

They walked a ways into the woods and stopped in a small clearing.

Josh grabbed her hand and lead her to an old picnic table and sat. "I just wanted to get away from everybody." He said as he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "You look really beautiful tonight."

"Thank you."

Josh leaned forward and kissed Adelaide but she pulled back. "Awe common Ads."

"I'm really sorry Josh, but I kinda want to take things a bit slower. I mean we haven't even had a real date. "

"We will," He said as he leaned forward again.

Again, she pulled back. "Josh, I don't really want to do this right now. Why don't we go back to the party?"

Josh gripped her wrists. "Nah I'm good."

"Ow Josh that hurts!"

"Adelaide do me a favor and just shut up for once in your goddamn life." He grabbed her face and kissed her hard. She tried to push away but his grip was too strong.

"Back the fuck up."

Josh pulled away startled. Adelaide looked to see Dallas standing there with his switchblade out.

"What the fuck did you just say to me greaser trash?"

Dallas took a step forward."I said, back. The. Fuck. Up."

Adelaide used Josh's surprise and shoved him away. She ran over to Dallas, he wrapped one arm around her and had the other pointing his switch at Josh.

Josh stood and scoffed. "Whatever man, she was totally into it."

"Walk away before I kill you."

Josh shook his head and walked away, "Psycho bitch," he muttered under his breath.

Dallas turned to Adelaide, "Are you okay?"

She nodded.

"Alright, let's get out of here before I go and kill that fucker."

After making sure that Cherry was okay with her leaving Dallas took Adelaide home.

They didn't say much on the drive.

Dallas walked her up to her front door. "Are you sure you're okay?"

She nodded. "Yeah I'm fine. Thank you for that."

"Of course."

She pushed the front door open, "Hey do you want to come in and watch a movie or something? My parents arent home and I really don't want to be alone right now."

Dallas smiled." Absolutely."
