Adelaide spent Sunday laying on the couch watching old romcom reruns and trying to do homework.

She was dead tired. She finally dozed off around 3 and woke up at 4 due to a nightmare. She hadn't been able to fall asleep afterwards and stared at her ceiling until she had given up at six and got out of bed.

She finished her homework around eight thirty in the afternoon and got up to get a snack, she wandered around her kitchen opening and closing the fridge a thousand times. Nothing sounded good. But she settled on baby carrots. Those aren't very fattening. She thought.

She sat on her kitchen floor and munched. She stared into space for a moment but was pulled out of her trance by russling outside. She popped up.

She was freaked out but tried to be rathonal about it. There is no one here. Your being silly. She reprimanded herself.

Nevertheless she went around her house to make sure all the doors and windows were locked.

She tried to drown out her thoughts with the tv but she jumped every five minuets at the wind whipping though the trees.

She kept telling herself she was being silly but she couldn't help herself. She walked over to the phone and picked up the receiver. Her fingers hovered over the numbers, she considered putting the phone down but dialed.

"Hello?" A groggy voice answered.

"Hey Dallas,"

"Oh hey doll face,"

"Hey sorry, did i wake you up?"

"You're good, what's up man?"

She twisted the cord, "Well I'm home alone,"

He cut her off,"Ill be over in 5," he joked.

"Oh shut up i hate you,"

"You know you love me,"

"Whatever, can you come over though? The wind is really freaking me out."

"Yeah, Ill be over in 20."

Adelaide jumped at the nock on the door but went over to let Dallas in. "Didn't come in though the window this time?"

"Funny,"

The two spent the night watching old movies. Adelaide even got Dallas to watch Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Breakfast at Tiffany's. In return she had to watch a western and a stupid action movie she actually didn't hate.

She woke up to Dally lightly shaking her. "Hey Doll, its late."

She sat up and rubbed her eyes. She realized she had fallen asleep on Dally. A blush creeped up her cheeks.
