- Parents Arguing
——————————————————————AGE TWELVE
I smile at Sophia, who's one of our house staff.
Unlike my Father, Mother and my two older brothers. I actually bother to learn and get to know our staff.
"Good afternoon, Miss Watts. How was school today?" Sophia asks.
"Tiring as always, and please stop calling me Miss Watts. You know you can call me Jennie." I say.
"I'm sorry Miss Watts, but it's protocol to call you that." She says giving me a small smile.
I hate when our staff members call me Miss Watts. It always makes me seem more important than them. When in reality we're all human, I'm just as special as them.
I sigh, I have tried convincing the house staff to start calling me by my name for years. Yet it has never worked.
"I know." I mumble.
"Don't be upset Miss Watts, if you like I could ask the kitchen staff to make you your favourite, brownies. I'll make sure that Madam doesn't find out."
My eyes sparkle with glee, i rush over to Sophia and hug her. "Thank you."
Mother says that I'm starting to get chubby and that I need to lose weight. Though I'm considered perfectly fit with the weight of 64, but mother says that's to big.
She's been making me follow these annoying salad and juice diets.
I haven't had brownies, my favourite food in months.
Sophia taps my back lightly as she hugs me back. "I'll have someone send them up."
I pull back with a wide smile on my face. "Thank you Sophia." I squeal and plop a big kiss of her cheek.
I leave Sophia to finish her work and start to head upstairs. my brothers are most likely at football practice or out partying.
Mother is probably alone in her music room, playing cello. Mother grew up playing many things but cello was the only thing that stuck.
That or she's at the mother/wife gossip brunch. Where every rich woman gather together to drink and eat while talking about who slept with who.
Father is most likely in his office or isn't home. Father rarely comes home anymore, I don't exactly know what my father does for work.
