AGE TWENTY
PRESENT TIME"Cheer!" We yell, before we down our shots in one go.
I let out a hiss, as the tequila stings the back of my throat.
Call out my name by the Weeknd blasts through the speakers of the club.
With the alcohol and music I could feel my body relax and loosen up a bit.
Rebecca, Autumn and I are currently sitting at the bar of the new club that opened called Star Gaze.
Are we old enough to drink?
No.
But does that ever stop us?
Also no.
But I mean when your best friend is about to marry a man who own practically half of city, no one dares to question us.
"I still can't believe you're blonde." Rebecca comments on Autumn's hair.
When I first met Autumn she was shy and nervous. But now knowing her for two or so years she has become more comfortable and confident with Rebecca and I.
Autumn's a really sweet person, who sees the good and kindness in everything and everyone. And, I admire that about her.
I can truly say Autumn is one of my closet friends just like Rebecca.
Our duo had grown into a trio.
Autumn laughs softly which I could barely hear because of the loud music. "I always had blonde hair, but when I moved to the states I wanted to try something new." She shrugs. Her British accent shinning through with ever word she say.
I always loved her British accent, I always found it cute.
"Still, I'm gonna miss the brown hair." I say, I actually prefer her blonde hair it's a dirty blonde which shows her features more than the brown.
Autumn is really fucking pretty, especially with the blonde hair. Not saying she wasn't pretty before but with her green eyes and light fair skin. She was absolutely stunning.
Autumn blushes a bit, and smiles sweetly at me. "Thank you."
I felt a pinch of guilt as I smile back at Autumn, Autumn may be Ezra's assistant but she doesn't know about the mafia.
Ezra has another assistant who deals with the mafia, Autumn only deals with the legal side. Ezra asked us to not tell her about the other business.
