Journey (The Owl House)

Patience

(sorry for the wait :,])
They all strode over to the shed with the portal.

Vee was sitting on the floor against the door, miraculously clean despite supposedly showering in muddy water.

"Heya Vee!" Luz said, waving.
"Hey Luz. Hey everyone." Vee said rather calmly.

"I fixed some things up!" Vee beamed.

"Oh?" Amity said. She entered the shack thing, it seemed to be less of a wreck now, a bulletin board on the wall and less trash everywhere.

"Great work, Vee!" Luz said, putting a hand on the youngers shoulder.

Luz shot her mom a text reading, "Mama, can we get a couch for the shed?" Then set her phone down.

"It's still a fixer upper, but if you guys would like to decorate the walls, I can go fetch another more pleasant looking paint!" Luz said, grinning. "We may have wallpaper, instead."
"Wall.. paper?" Gus said, confused by the combination of words.

Luz stepped out and returned in about 5 minutes with various rolls of wallpaper scraps.

She (not so delicately) dropped the rolls on the floor.

Luz showed the others how to hastily apply the wallpaper.

*Insert montage of them wallpaper-ing(? grammar isnt my thing uwu /sar)*

They all aggressively flop down on the floor, Amity wiping beads of cold sweat off her forehead. Luz kisses her cheek, tiredly leaning into her.

Gus pops up again, taking the rest of the wallpaper scraps outside to clear out the room.

Willow decorates the outside of the house with plants.

Everyone regroups inside the house, slumping down into a group cuddle. (Besides Hunter, whose being a trauma boy in the corner as he does.)

*Knock knock*

"Come in!" Luz said, recognizing her mothers knock from anywhere.

Camila walks inside. "You all made great progress!" She beamed, lugging a big box behind her.

"What's in the box?" Hunter said from the depression corner, his curiosity piqued. 
"I picked you all some things up from yard sales! Just scrounged around where I could find." She pushed the box into the room.

"It should all be put together, so let me know if you need help, but I'll leave you guys to it!" She smiled

Willow opened the box and pulled out a beanbag, setting it in the corner and sitting on it.

Vee stood up, leaning over the box and pulling out the pieces to an old couch. (This box got those animal crossing pockets fr) she sat on the ground figuring out how to put it together.

Luz huddled close to the others, pulling out a cooler and a mini fridge, which were stuck together, she pushed the apart and set them down. Gus pulled out a flowerpot and mirror and set them up closest to Amity. 

Finally, Hunter, who pulled out a rug and set it down, then an animal bed. He smiled a bit.

Luz grinned and urged the Palismen to sit in the bed.

Vee figured out her couch chair and sat down, Willow got comfy on her beanbag and grew a plant in the flower pot.

Amity snuggled up to Luz on the floor against the cooler.

Gus got comfortable on the floor in between Willow and Vee,

and Hunter sat down with the Palismen, Flapjack perched on his shoulder.

They made a lot of progress today.
