Neytiri woke up from a massive headache, the only thing she remembered was being in pain before passing out.
She looked to see John sitting next to her. She watched as he checked her bandage.
"I'm sorry if you feel any pain right now. You hit your head pretty hard when you passed out, but we made sure you were okay." He told her and she just stared at him.
She didn't know whether to say thank you to him, or to insult him. He was after all, a sky demon.
Neytiri decided to suck up her pride, and to stop giving him the silent treatment for once.
"Thank you." She said and he looked at her, shocked. This was the first time she had ever spoken to him ever since they took her from the woods.
"Are you good in English?" She gave him a look before responding again to his question." Only enough to get me talking to you." She told him and he gestured to her.
"I see, well you're welcome." He told her and she looked around the place." Why are you here?" She asked him and he looked up at her once more." What do you mean?" He asked her, what kind of question was she attempting to ask?
"I mean why are you and these demons here?" She asked him, he could tell she despised his species so much.
"Because we're trying to save our species." He said to her and she glared at him.
"Your kind are nothing but trouble." Neytiri said it in Na'vi because it was difficult for her to say it in English. John was kind of glad that he knew some words in Na'vi.
He just only hope it was enough.
"We want to live, to survive." He told her and she glared at him, he was nothing but a man in a false body.
"Please teach us your ways, to understand." He said to her and she didn't hesitate to shake her head." No, you people do not see. You don't listen. You are like a child." She told him before hissing out.
"Please-" He stopped because she didn't really tell him, her name. She noticed this and responded to him." Neytiri is my name." She told him and he repeated her name." Neytiri, what a lovely name." He said, yet she didn't respond to him.
"Please, Neytiri. I understand how much you care. But we must learn." When he said this to her, she gave him the death stare. " You are unwilling to learn. All you want to do is find Jake." His eyes widened as she yelled angrily at him.
"Do you know where he is?" She returned to the silent treatment after he asked." Why not find out if you're here to kill?" In between her teeth, she let out a hiss.
"I can tell you care about him." He said, and she looked down, not wanting him to see how upset she was.
"Something happened, didn't it?" He asked and she grunts out in anger." Something did happen. You and your demons took everything from me." Neytiri said, switching to her own language.
