A WEEK LATER

As the sun rises over the vast ocean, the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks echoes through the air. In the distance, five Ikran were seen flying over the village. The horns were blown and everyone got in the water to go meet them.

Meanwhile, the Quaritch Family were hunting together as a family far away from the village so they didn't hear the horn blown. Neytiri smiled while she held Käezì in her arms. Käezì was just playing with the waves in her mother's arms.

"Come on, I think we have everything we need," John said and the kids were glad to be done. As they swam back to the Village, they saw everyone together around on the beach." What's going on over there?" Sylwanin asked and John tried to look.

"Come on," John exclaimed, leading the family towards the beach where they found everyone else. As they approached, they noticed Navi, who bore a strong resemblance to them. It took a closer look for them to realize their connection.

THE SULLY FAMILY!

Sylwanin stood next to Tsireya as the rest of her family made it to the front to get a better look. Jake caught sight of someone he never thought he would see again. John, the man who was related to the man who had been a constant threat to his family.

"You!" With a shout, Jake drew his knife to confront John, but the warriors with spears directed their weapons at him, signaling him to move back. They made sure to keep their children safe behind them.

Beyral pulled out her bow and aimed it at John, ready to shoot him when she was pulled to the ground by Ronal." Stop!" Tonowari yelled at his people and Jake.

"Jakesully, this is not the way of the Metkayina. We do not resort to violence," Tonowari said calmly.

"But he's my enemy. He has caused my family so much pain. Do you even know who you allowed to stay in your home?" Jake replied, his anger rising.

Tonowari placed a hand on Jake's shoulder and said, "I understand your anger, but John is a member of our community now. He has proven that he is not a threat and that all he wanted was to protect his family. If you cannot respect him, then I'm afraid I cannot allow you and your family to stay here."

Jake was completely taken aback by those words. He glanced over at his kids, who were clearly unhappy with the situation. Jake was determined not to let his actions affect their living situation. He shot John a piercing look, while Neytiri stood by John's side, giving Jake an intense glare.

After exchanging a look with Tonowari, Jake nodded. Tonowari then looked at his wife and nodded as well. Ronal released Beyral and moved away from the family to stand with her people. "My son, Ao'nung. Our Daughter, Tsireya will show your children what to do," Tonowari explained, and they all nodded slowly.

Tsireya, Ao'nung, and Rotxo started showing the family where they would be staying. Kiri looked at the Quaritch family, her eyes soon landed on another Navi that she didn't recognize. Her eyes widened when she realized it was Spider. She saw that he was now in his avatar form – a towering, muscular being with the blue skin of the Navi and the features of a human. Kiri couldn't help but stare in awe at the transformation.

"Kiri!"

Kiri stopped looking at Spider before following her family. John walked up to Tonowari." Thanks for what you did for me and my family." John said as Tonowari turned to him." You have proven that you are one of us. Jakesully has not. I don't care what history you guys had in the past, all I care about is what you prove today in the present." He said and John smiled before thanking him.

John walked back to his family and Neytiri looked at him. John looked around and saw the kids were nowhere to be found." Where are the kids?" He asked and she smiled." They wanted to help their friends." She said and he nodded.

"We better get this food back to the hut." He said and she nodded. John grabbed the bags before heading off with Neytiri back home.

⎈⎈⎈

Kiri walked to a clearing around the eclipse, Kiri spotted a figure standing by the edge of a small creek. Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized who it was. Spider,

"Spider!" She called out, unable to contain her excitement.

The tall figure turned towards her, a smile spreading across his face. "Kiri!" He replied, his voice deep and resonant. "It's been so long!"

Kiri ran towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck in a tight embrace. She breathed in his familiar scent – a mixture of earth and forest – and felt a wave of nostalgia wash over her. "I've missed you so much," she said, her voice filled with genuine emotion.

"I've missed you too,"  Spider replied, hugging her back just as tightly.

They stood there for a few moments, lost in the joy of being reunited. When they finally pulled away, Kiri's eyes sparkled with pure happiness. "You look amazing in your avatar form," she said, scanning his features with a mix of wonder and admiration.

Spider chuckled, visibly pleased by her compliment. "Thanks, Kiri. It took some getting used to, but I'm starting to feel more comfortable in this body."

Kiri couldn't help but smile." I always knew one day you would have one."  She said, teasing him with a playful punch to his arm.

Spider laughed, shaking his head. "I remember how I used to dream about this when we were little. And now, here I am– living my childhood dreams."

Kiri's smile faltered for a moment, thinking about how much had changed since their carefree days. "Do you still remember our childhood in the forest?" she asked, her voice tinged with sadness.

"How could I forget?" Spider replied, a genuine smile lighting up his face. "Those were some of the best moments of my life. I will always cherish them."

Kiri's face lit up with a smile at the mention of their childhood memories. "Me too. I miss the times when our parents didn't know we were hanging out with each other."

Just then, Kiri's father's voice echoed through the forest, calling out her name. "Kiri, come home, it's time for dinner!"

Kiri turned to face Spider, a look of disappointment on her face. "I have to go," she said, her voice heavy with regret.

Spider's expression mirrored hers, but he knew that they had to part ways. 'Of course," he replied, his voice filled with understanding.

"I wanted to ask you if you wanted to hang out later," Kiri blurted out, not wanting to end their encounter so quickly.

"I would love to," Spider replied, with a twinkle in his eye. "But I'm still getting used to my avatar form, so maybe some other time?"

Kiri nodded, understanding the need for Spider to adapt to his new form. "Of course. We'll catch up another time."

"Definitely," Spider said, flashing her a smile. As they said their goodbyes, Kiri felt a pang of sadness. She had hoped to spend more time with Spider, but she also knew that he had a lot to adjust to. She watched him disappear through the huts, As she headed back to her new home, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the brief reunion with her childhood friend.
