"Mama, can I please bring my doll, please." Tuk asked her mother as Neytiri helped pack some things in the basket." But, I just packed one, Tuk-Tuk. We are only going to be gone for a few days." Neytiri said and Tuk smiled before running off.
"Is everyone ready to go?" John asked as he came into the hut picking up Tuk who was on her way out and started tickling her." Kids!" Neytiri called out as Sylwanin came in, holding her bag.
"I'm ready." She said as the boys came in too." Alright." John said before looking at his wife, who smiled at him." Then we better get going before nightfall." He said as some of the warriors brought a four Dire horse for the family.
John helped Neytiri on hers as he gave her Tuk. Sylwanin got on hers by herself while his sons shared one. Spider got on behind John.
"Dad, are you sure that they are strong enough to carry all of this?" 'Angao asked, looking at all of the load that they have." Unless you have something heavy in these bags, then we should be good." John said as Ray came up to them.
"Be safe, brother." Roy said and John smiled before nodding." See you in a few days." He said before taking off with his family. They opened the gates for the family as they left the village.
It took the family about 10 minutes to get to their destination. A spot where they could still see the village from afar. The family looked at the tree that they were going to stay in.
A little house was already built on top of it that John had built a while back for his family. They took the bags from the Dire horses and allowed them to go back to their herd.
The family settled in as they picked their spots to sleep. The family all settled down. They all went fishing together and enjoyed the forest with peace and quiet, well only for a moment.
TWO DAYS LATER
Neytiri giggled as John loved on her, kissing her body from her pregnant stomach to her face. He smiled at her as he picked his hand on her stomach.
"I don't know what my life would be like if I didn't have you in it." He told her and she smiled at him." And I'm so happy you gave up your way of revenge for me." She said and he chuckled at that.
She closed her eyes as she laid on his chest. She felt at peace, staring at the beautiful night sky listening to her children's sleep. She didn't want more, she was happy. She looked down and frowned before sitting up.
John looked up to see her eyes focused on something. He followed her eyes and saw fire up ahead. But not just anywhere, fire was happening at the village. Neytiri put her hand over her mouth and she watched the village starting to burn down.
