THE NEXT DAY
Sorewn woke up from her nap and got up to see John and Neytiri eating breakfast. She looked and saw a plate for her and grabbed it before sitting next to them.
"How are you feeling, Sorewn?" Neytiri asked, Sorewn looked to see the two look at her." I'm doing okay, I'm getting better." She said and Neytiri smiled." That's good to hear, because today I was hoping you would come with me for hunting?" Neytiri asked and John grunts out in disagreement.
"No. In your state, being in the woods is too dangerous." He said this while staring at her pregnant stomach. "Ma John, just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I'm helpless." He looked at Neytiri as she told him. "I am aware of this, but I cannot take that risk. Please stay at home; the rest of us will go hunting for you." He said this, and she hissed angrily looking at him.
"I'm not going to sit here and do nothing, John." He frowned as she yelled angrily at him. " I just want you and the baby to be safe, Neytiri. And I won't be able to do so if you don't listen to me." He told her, he needed her here because Reed was still out there and he couldn't protect her if she went hunting alone.
"I'm not going to be alone. Sorewn will accompany me." Neytiri told him, and he frowned as he looked over at Sorewn, who was standing in the corner watching the two." Neytiri, she is an oceanic Na'vi. She has no idea how to hunt in the forest." He said as Neytiri glared at him before she walked out the door.
"Neytiri." He said this as he was about to follow her." I got this for you." Sorewn said before going after the future mother.
She looked around the village and discovered Neytiri holding a bow." What are you doing, Neytiri?" She asked, and Neytiri turned to face her." John said you can't hunt." She told her and Neytiri rolled her eyes.
"Well, he's not going to tell me how to live my life. Mates are supposed to support us when we go hunting for food." Neytiri informed her, and Sorewn frowned. " Neytiri, John was born human, and he has no idea how the Na'vi system works when it comes to having a baby. My human friend told me that when a female human is pregnant, she does not hunt at all. They don't need to hunt because their food is provided for them." Sorewn remarked, and Neytiri scoffed, humans were weak and lazy.
Humans are soft and believe that they can have everything handed to them. Neytiri was not going to live like them, no matter how much John wanted her to be safe while carrying this baby.
"Do you want to go hunting with me or not?" Neytiri asked, and Sorewn sighed. "Yes, it's the least I can do." She said this before following Neytiri through the woods.

Sorewn walked behind Neytiri as the pregnant woman just kept on walking through the woods. Sorewn didn't know how forest Na'vis hunts so today she was going to learn.
