Once upon a time, there was a girl named Lily who had a special and terrifying ability. She had the power to see a person's death before it happened. It was a gift that she never wanted, but it had been with her ever since she was a child.
Lily tried to ignore her power, but the visions kept coming. She saw people in her dreams, their faces twisted in terror, as they met their gruesome ends. She saw car accidents, fires, and even murders. The worst part was that she couldn't do anything to stop them from happening.
One day, Lily's classmate, Sarah, approached her with a worried expression. "Lily, can we talk?" Sarah asked.
Lily nodded, knowing what was coming next. She had seen Sarah's death the night before.
"I had a dream last night," Sarah began, her voice trembling. "I was walking home from school, and then someone grabbed me from behind. I couldn't see their face, but I knew they were going to kill me."
Lily's heart sank. She knew that Sarah's dream was not just a dream, but a premonition of her impending death.
"I'm so sorry, Sarah," Lily said, tears streaming down her face. "I wish I could help you, but I don't know how."
Sarah tried to brush it off, but Lily could see the fear in her eyes. "It's okay, Lily. It was just a dream, right?"
But Lily knew it wasn't just a dream. She had to do something to save Sarah, but she didn't know how. She tried to warn Sarah to stay away from certain places and people, but it was too late.
One day, Lily received a phone call from Sarah's mother. The news was devastating. Sarah had been found dead, just as Lily had seen in her vision. The police had no leads, no suspects, and no motive.
Lily was haunted by guilt and grief. She felt responsible for Sarah's death, and she couldn't shake the feeling that she could have done something to prevent it.
From that day on, Lily's power became a curse, haunting her every waking moment. She saw death everywhere she went, and she couldn't escape the visions....
