Hello Readers!
This is the last Chapter for Days of Future Past, so I hope you enjoy it. It is not the end however. I have lots in Store for the rest of the story and I can't wait to publish it.
I've laid this story out differently to the film, so I'll explain it now to save confusion.
When it cuts back and forth between Past and Future during the announcement of the Sentinels, I've just condensed it into one larger POV, rather than flicking between the two, every three lines. You'll see what I mean as you read.
The next Chapter will be the beginning of Apocalyspe and I cannot wait for this. I've had plans for Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix, from about halfway into DoFP.
I hope you enjoy this Chapter!

'Future' Annabelle's POV

Kitty had been scratched up pretty bad when Logan lashed out. Erik had restrained him until he had calmed down, but the damage had already been done. Bobby had been tending to her wounds as she kept Logan in the past. Eden had sat next to Kitty, much to mine and Erik's dismay, but she reassured the girl and stayed beside her husband.
"She's lost too much blood. She can't keep going like this." Bobby said, pulling Erik, Charles and I to one side. "We have no choice, Bobby." Charles told him. "We can wake him up!" He protested, but Charles flung his arm out. "No!" He said. "They need more time. I had a glimpse into the past, if we wake Logan now, we may set our fate on an even darker course. They need more time." Charles explained. Bobby looked at the three of us and let out a sigh in defeat. "This better work." He spat, before making his way over to Kitty and Eden.

Once he had walked away, I turned to my brother. "How is he?" I asked. "I didn't get to see Logan, but he convinced past me to go into his head. He needed some convincing, but I'm sure I set him on the right path." Charles said hopefully. I turned to Erik and then back to Charles. "Let's hope they get this done. I don't know how she'd react if it was all for nothing." I said, sending a concerned look towards Eden, who glanced up and sent me a small smile. Erik's hadn reached my shoulder. "She'll be fine, because that man is going to save us all." He said, smiling softly. I nodded, and placed a kiss to his lips.

'Past' Annabelle's POV

Erik had wanted to make a stop before going to the President's announcement, which is how we ended up in the Pentagon. Erik had swiped us both in the gate and we headed near the cells. As we walked down the stairs, he had pulled out a pair of metal balls, which he spun around in his hand. He shot them forward and knocked out the two rear guards, alerting the one at the desk. They flew around his head and the guard eyed us as we walked past, that was until he reached for the phone, which was when Erik made them collide with his temples - knocking him out. He brought his hand forward, and opened the safe. Inside was 'trophies' from the mutants who were killed and experimented on. There was one of Angel's wings, Alex's suit, and a modicum of other 'treasures'. But the thing he desired was the centre piece. Erik removed his glasses, and brought the helmet forward.

'Future' Annabelle's POV

"Twelve carriers inbound, ten miles!" I heard Warpath yell from the other side of the door. "They've found us." Charles confirmed, as the three of us sent each other a panicked look. Erik glanced to Logan and then to me. I subtley nodded, and we took off toward the door.

"Here they come." Warpath said as we ran down the stairs. Erik stayed guarding the door and I advanced forward. "We can't stop that many." Bishop told Storm and I. "No. But we can slow them down." I said, giving Storm a nod. She activated her powers and the wind began howling and the snow increased. I used mine to try and push as man of them back as I could, but it was going to prove a struggle, even for me. Storm had caused the snow to blizzard and the added fog and lightning made it harder for them to navigate. This allowed me to gain a small upper hand on them, so I made some of them crash into one another. But our plan soon failed, when they started deploying from the carriers. Erik ripped apart a few of the jets, which helped us. Storm sent a bolt of electricity to the engine of one of the jets, causing it to overheat and eventually explode. Shards of metal flew straight towards us, but Erik deflected them like the missiles in Cuba. Not feeling anymoe machines, we all stopped and took a moment to recover. "Is everybody okay?" Storm asked, getting some sort of response from everyone.
It was then I realised Erik hadn't made any sound or respose to the question. Making my way toward the door, I saw Erik gasp as a large piece of metal was wedged into his side. I ran to his aid, as he pulled it out, but failed to pick up on any sort of movement as a Sentinel jumped out of no where stabbing Storm straight through the middle and tossing her over the edge like nothing. It went downhill from there. Suddenly, we were surrounded from all angles and we had no where to run. I supported Erik has he picked up the shards of metal and used it as a barricade for the door, so the others were protected. We backed up as one approached us and Blink created a portal inside that we backed into. Just as we got inside, Erik collapsed against a pillar, bringing me down with him. "Dad!" Eden yelled, rushing to his aid.
