Annabelle's POV

"Thank you Peter, for saving my children." I smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Your children?" He asked, and I nodded. "With Magneto?" He added, and I nodded again. "Wow." He smiled, crouching down to their level. "Hey guys, I'm Peter. I'm your," but he trailed off. I furrowed my brow, but dismissed his comment. The children started whispering and stared at Raven in awe. "She's the one. It's her." I heard someonoe say. After Washington, Erik and I were marked as the villians and Raven the hero. She had caused the 'peace' between mutants and humans. Soon enough, everyone was staring at Raven. She didn't understand why, until she looked down and saw her blue form had replaced her human form. "They look up to you. Right now, they need you." Hank told her. "That's not what they need." Raven said, changing back. A yellow car pulled up and four kids jumped out. "What happened?" A boy with red lense glasses asked. "Where's Alex? Where's my brother?" He asked, looking around. Poor boy. Who was going to tell him? "Pretty sure I got everybody." Peter shrugged and I stepped forward. "I'm sorry. Your brother, Alex. He was closest to the blast." I told him. His breath quickened and he ran towards the rubble. A redheaded girl ran after him.
A military air craft flew over the trees, and landed on a patch of grass, claiming 'Medical Assisstance was on the way. Soldiers filed out, and Moira went to talk to them. Raven shouted "Wait!" when a man jumped off and removed his sunglasses. His face looked familiar, but I couldn't place it. "Fire!" He shouted, then suddenly my vision went black.

I woke up in a green cell with Hank, Raven, Peter and Moira. "Ahh!" Peter cried, jumping up. "What?!" Raven and I asked. "What's wrong with you? Is that gonna happen to all of us?" Peter asked, referring to Hank. Hank looked down at his hands. "Oh, No. I just left my meds in the house." He grumbled, standing up. "What happened? Where are we?" Moira asked. "Hey!" Raven called up at the man watching us. "Hello Mystique." The man smirked. "Major Stryker." She sneered. "Colonel Stryker." He corrected. "I wouldn't get too close to the wall, if I were you. It may create some discomfort." He gloated. "I'm Moira MacTaggert, I'm a senior officer at the CIA." She announced. "I know who you are, Agent MacTaggert." He said with a smug grin. "You cannot keep me here, in this..." He interupted her. "Actually, I can. A psychic event just destroyed every nuke from here to Moscow. That event emanated from exactly where we found you. At the home of the world's most powerful psychic. So, you are going to tell me, where is Charles Xavier?" He told her. "It's not him you should be worried about. There's someone else. Someone more powerful." Moira said. "If you let us out of here, we can help you." Raven suggested. "Do you really expect me to believe that? You can put on any face you want, but I know who you are. What you are." He said, before walking away. "Hey Moira, um. What did you mean when you said someone more powerful than Charles?" Hank asked.

"So you're married and have kids with him? Magneto?" Peter asked. "Yeah." I answered. "What is he like? Is he like they say he was? Was he...the bad guy?" He questioned. "No. Erik was never the 'bad guy' as you said. He just had his beliefs like everyone else, he just executed the differently. He fights for what he cares about. Why do you care so much anyway? You only broke him out of prison." I said, lightheartedly. "Yeah, but uh." He cleared his throat. "He's my father." Peter said. "What?" I asked, eyes going wide. "Him and my mom, they did it." He began explaining. "I know, but are you sure?" I asked. "Yeah. He left my mom before I was born. I obviously met him ten years back, but I didn't know it was him. By the time I figured it out, it was too late. Then this week I saw him on the TV again, and I came to that house looking for him, but by the time I got there. Late again." He sighed. "You know, for a guy who moves as fast as me, I always seem to be late." He told me. "Oh Peter. I had no idea." I said, bringing him into a hug. "You won't be late this time. I promise." I smiled. "So what? Does this make you my evil stepmother?" He joked, causing me to chuckle. "I am far from evil, Peter. But I can be there for you." I told him.
