When I woke up, Erik's arm was wrapped around me in a protective way. I smiled to myself, watching my newly named boyfriend sleep. "Staring is creepy, you know that don't you?" He asked, smirking before opening his eyes. "I'm allowed if it's my boyfriend." I said, sticking my tongue out. "We need to be ready soon, today's the big day." I smiled softly, before pecking a kiss to his forehead.
We met Charles and Raven for breakfast, and they commented on how chipper we looked. Erik just shrugged them off and chuckled. Once breakfast was finished, we headed to Hank's lab where he had said to meet. "Gone to the airbase, bring the crate marked X. Hank." The note on the door said. We looked between each other to see if anyone had any ideas. Hesitantly, Charles opened the door. On the otherside, the lab had been torn to shreds. "What the hell happened here?" I asked, but Charles just turned around. Following my brother, we all found the Crate marked X and looked inside. "Hank has been busy." Erik quipped. "Do we really have to wear these?" Alex said in dsbelief, and a little bit of digust. "As none of us have mutated to endure extreme G-force, or being riddled with bullets, I suggest we suit up." Charles instructed, as we all took our individual costumes out.

We got to the airbase, dressed in our uniforms, and there was still no sign of the young scientist. "Where's Hank?" Raven asked, sounding somewhat concerned. "I'm here." Hank said from a distance. He began walking up to us, and we realised the silhoutte didn't look human. "Hank?" Charles asked. "It didn't attack the cells. It enhanced them. It didn't work." He said, looking down in shame. "Yes it did, Hank. Don't you see? This is who you were meant to be. This is you. No more hiding." Raven reassured. "Never looked better, man." Erik said, before being picked up by the neck by Hank. "Don't mock me." Hank growled. "Put him down Hank." I told him, but he refused. I threw my arm forward, and flung him a few metres away, so then Erik could regain his breath. "I wasn't." Erik said, looking over at the blue creature. "Even I got to admit, you look pretty bad ass. I think I got a new name for you. Beast." Alex said with a grin. "You sure you can fly this thing?" Sean asked Hank. "Of course I can, I designed it." He stated.

Cuba

We had managed to fly to Cuba, just in time. Charles used his powers to look on board the ship. "Crew of the Aral Sea are all dead. Shaw's been there." He informed us. "He's still here, somewhere." Erik told Charles. "He set the ship on course for the embargo line." Charles said to Moira. "If that ship crosses the line, our boys are gonna blow it up. And the war begins." Moira said. "Unless they're not our boys," Charles said. He pressed his fingers against his temple, and the next thing we knew, there was a Soviet missile heading towards us. Hank dodged it by almost flipping the plane upside down. Charles grabbed Raven and Erik and I reached for each other. "A little warning next time, Professor." Hank said after gaining back control. "Sorry about that. You all right?" Charles asked Raven and I. "That was inspired, Charles." Moira congratulated. "Thank you very much, but I still can't locate Shaw." Charles said in annoyance. "He's down there. We need to find him now." Erik instructed. "Hank?" I suggested. "Is there anything unusual on the radar or scanners?" He asked Moira. "No. Nothing." She said. "When Shaw came to the Facility, she had this metal helmet on. He asked if you were here, and when we said no, he took it off. Maybe that's what's blocking you from him?" I told Charles. "Unless, he's underwater? And obviously, we don't have sonar." Hank grumbled. Erik let out a sigh. I turned to look at Sean, who must have been thinking the same thing as me, because we both sad. "Yes we do." Charles caught on and motioned to Erik. "Yes we do!" He smiled. Erik, Charles, Sean and I got out of our seats and went to where the wheels were. "Hank, level the bloody plane!" I yelled, whilst trying to concerntrate on not losing balance. "Woah. You back right off." Sean said to Erik, as last time, he had flung him off the Satellite dish. "Beast, open the Bomb Bay doors!" Sean told him. They began opening and we watched with caution. "Remember, this is a muscle! You control it! You'll be in here the entire time! We'll see you soon. On my mark." Charles told the boy, pressing a finger to the side of his head. He counted to three, and he cheered the whole way down. "Banshee has got a location on Shaw, you ready for this?" Charles asked. "Let's find out." Erik said. I placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'll be here if you need me." I told him. He got let down onto the wheel of the plane as we hovered over the water. Erik held his arm out like a metal detector and then found the sub. He strained too hard, and I worried incase he'd burn out too quick. Charles said something in his head, then with what looked like ease, the submarine broke the surface of the water. "Yes! Fuck yeah! You're doing it!" I yelled a little too excitedly. Raven and Alex, both shot me a wtf look, but I just laughed. "Erik, take my hand." Charles cried, and I snapped my attention their way. It was the windy dude from Miami. "Oh no you don't." I said, using my power to fling him off the edge of the sub and straight into the water. Although the mutant was gone, Erik struggled to regain control. Luckily we were near the shore, so it landed on the beach. With great difficulty and very close to ground, Erik made it back inside the plane.
