Our heads lay on top of one another, enjoying each others presence, giving each other small kisses on the shoulder and head. It felt odd being able to finally show this affection I've hid very hard, but it felt reliving. I've always shown affection to her, but being able to kiss her was something I still wasn't over.

"Hi"

Her eyes meet mine, staring at me with that smile, the same smile she showed me while I was in denial about her actually having feelings for me, the feelings finally being reciprocated.

"Hi baby"

She gives me a quick kiss, the feeling of her lips still remains on mine, the warmth and softness they felt against me

"They took my phone"

The realization of the situation was present again, wishing these weren't the circumstances we were in at the moment

"it's okay, phones are stupid anyway"

"but how am I going to talk to you when I can't see you?"

Her bottom lip places itself on top of the other, the small pout revealing itself

"don't worry, will figure out something, just like we always do"

That causes her to blush, remembering those were her words too me

"plus I'm not going to let anyone hurt you or take you away from me- us, again, I promise"

"you can't promise that Jayj, that's not up too you"

I sigh, knowing she was right, wishing she wasn't

"I'll fucking hurt someone if they even lay a finger on you, my gun is loaded"

"JJ-"

"I'm serious"

"let's not kill anyone, k? Then you'll end up in jail and won't be able to see me at all"

"who's saying I'd get caught?"

"I love you so much, but most of your plans do not work out very good"

Still not use to her saying that, I don't think I ever will be

"this one did?"

"oh I know, but let's not jinx yourself"

"fair enough"

"hey, I told you I love you"

"shit sorry, I'm still not use to hearing that, I'm such a jerk-"

She interrupts me, starting to kiss me. It becomes a little heated before I pull apart, not here.

"I was joking"

"can you tell me to shut up all the time that way?"

"I'll see what I can do"

"I love you too"

"impossible"

"you sure about that?"

"I am because it's true"

"I would beg to differ"

"reject your beg"

"that's not how it works"

"well now it works that way"

"you can't just change the rules like that!"

Sticking out her tongue, putting it back when I noticed

"you make it really hard to stay fake mad at you"

"you do too"

We both yawn, knowing it was probably late by now

"I'm so tired"

"go to sleep, get comfortable"

Standing up, I put my legs straight down, knowing she was going to come on my lap. She sits, wrapping herself around me, putting her hoodie over her head.

"Is this okay?"

"yeah, are you comfortable?"

"For the most part"

"don't worry, I'm fine"

"I'm still just worried. That I'll wake up and this'll just be a dream, that I'm still in Kitty Hawk"

"it's not a dream, you're okay, you're the strongest girls I know, I'll be here when you wake up, promise"

Removing one arm from my back, she holds out her pinky, intertwining them

"Goodnight Jayj"

"Goodnight Kie"

Shortly after I hear soft snores, sending a smile to my face

"Hey Mike, Kie's sleeping"

"not much I can do kid, there's blankets in that box there I think"

"I think will be alright, she's sleeping on me so I don't want to get up and wake her"

"alright"

I use my thumb to rub her back, trying to sooth her. Her head turns from laying on the side of her head to nuzzling into my chest.

"You're okay, you're safe, I'm here, I'm not going anywhere"

Melia/Serenity talks:

I'm going to go back to my fluff oneshots because I seriously love making these. I really hope within those 18 month time skip we get to maybe see how they were together on the plan, I feel like them showing small things of affection would like literally break us as a fandom. I genuinely love seeing them just show affection to one another I just think it's so cute. I hope you guys enjoyed this oneshot as much as I loved writing it! Ily all and PEACE!
