I hold the shark tooth necklace between my thumb and index finger, just enjoying the moment of being close to one another. We're on the boat we're staying on,

"You okay?"
"I'm just thinking"
"about?"
"how in love I am with you"
"you know what's funny? I was thinking the same thing"
"oh really now?"
"yeah, and actually I want to kiss you"
"what's stopping you Maybank?"
"nothing actually"

Our noses rub against another before my lips no longer feel alone. It's stupid, the way I still get sparks in my stomach every time we kiss, how my entire body softens when I feel his face against mine. Pulling me in closer, my heart beats faster as my hand runs down his arm. The high comes down as we pull apart, holding his hand with my now free hand.

"I like that"
"what?"
"being able to kiss you"
"I do too, but we just still have to be careful in public"
"I know"

Kissing my forehead, I place the shark tooth on his chest, dropping it from my hand. Taylor swift is playing in the background, feeling comforted in his arms.

"can we just stay like this forever?"
"I wouldn't mind that at all"
"me either"

I laugh a little as my head drops to his neck, leaving a hickey there

"God I love you"
"I love you too"
