Ross and Laura

I was sitting in the living room with my best friend, Laura Marie Marano. We have been best friends ever since we were born. I love her so much. Oh and if you can't tell, I love her more than a best friend. I wish she was my girlfriend but I don't think she likes me in that way.
Well, Laura is sitting on the couch with me in our pjs. It is only 6:40 am but a little TV wouldn't hurt. She is wearing her glasses which she looks so cute in. It is the school holidays at the moment so we don't need to get changed. Laura loves the school holidays because she gets bullied at school. The cheerleaders bully her because of what she wears. I try to stop them from bulling her but stops me and she makes me watch her get punched, kicked or even being made fun of. She has been acting weird lately, like she is hiding something.
"Ross, I have to go my mum is calling me. I will see you later?" She says. I look up at her. I see that she is already dressed and has her bag packed.
"Why do you need to go at 7am?" I ask, confused. She could at least stay until nine and then go. I mean it is still dark out.
"Vanessa is having a sleepover and my mum needs me to help her with the food and everything." I nod understanding. I got up off the couch and hugged her tight. She loves my hugs. I could hear her giggling and I chuckled along with her. As we pull away, she starts to make her way to the front door. She turns to me and waves. I wave back and watch her leave my house. I have a feeling her mum didn't need her help. Laura is hiding something and I am determined too find out what it is. I hear a pair of feet coming down the stairs. I turn my head to see a very sleepy looking Riker plodding down the stairs-

Riker- Hang on I was not sleepy and I never plod.
Ross- Yes you do. Every time you wake up or before you go to bed, you plod. Trust me Riker I know this story like the back of my hand. Literally, because to remember it, I wrote it on my hand.
Rydel- Boys stop arguing. Riker you do plod. Ross carrying on with the story. I love this one almost as much as I do for mine and Ratliff's.
Ross- Okay so as I was saying.

I turn my head to see a very sleepy looking Riker plodding down the stairs.
"Morning Rike," I say, "sleep well?"
"You can say. You and Laura woke me up with your conversation." He groans walking into the kitchen. I hear a scram and realise why me and Laura never went into the kitchen. There was a a spider in there so we avoided it and just stayed in the living room.
"Oh Riker, there is something I forgot to tell you. There is a giant spider in the kitchen." I joke.
"Ha ha. Very funny Ross" Riker says sarcastically. I walk upstairs to my room to grab a towel before I head to the bathroom. I really wish Laura would tell me what is bugging her.

It is 3 in the afternoon and Laura and I are meeting at the park because she texted me saying she wants to show me something. I have no idea what she has in store.
I sit on one of the park benches playing on my phone when hear the schools cheerleading squad walk past me. I forgot they meet at the park during summer vacation. I look up at them and recognise someone familiar.
Laur.
"L-L-Laura?" I ask shocked. Is this what she wanted to show me.
"Oh, hi, what is your name again?" I can't believe it. She forgot me?
"Ross. I am your best friend. I have known you my whole life."
"No, I don't know a Ross." She says. I can feel the tears streaming down my face.
"Laura, I am your best friend. But I doesn't look that way anymore." I sulk.
Kimmy, the head cheerleader, pulls me aside.
"Ross, don't you understand. We brained washed Laura. She doesn't remember you. In her world you don't exist." She says before she walks back to the cheerleaders. Laura doesn't remember me.

I walk away from the park with my hands in my pockets and back home. As open the door I see my family standing. My mum opens her arms up wide and I run into them. "Mum, Laura's gone. The cheerleaders brained washed her. She doesn't remember me" By this time. I was drowning in tears. I have lost my best friend in the whole world.

My life is meaning less without her.....
