Ratliff P.O.V
Whoever that blonde girl was, she seemed to have some really bad emotion issues. I mean, I know I am the school's hottest boy but there is no need to cry over me like I am in One Direction or something. Even though, I did have a slight feeling that I knew her from somewhere, I just couldn't put my finger on it. But in full honesty I do want to find out where I knew her from.

As soon as Maia and her dumb friends, who can't even master basic maths so I have no clue how they made it in to high school, had left the toilets I made my decent to the AP Chemistry Lab. Luckily enough, Laura helped me get an A* on my Junior Chemistry final last year that I got into Senior AP Chemistry so I am allowed access into this lab whenever I feel like it. I had to find the directions for the antidote. I remember reading about somewhere in the Chemistry book a couple of weeks ago. I know, I sound like the American version of Hermione Granger from Harry Potter, but I read that the power of the potion, if strong enough can mess with the mind's system, slowing it down. What? I listen in Chemistry.
I snuck into the back section of the lab, the supply room. Fortunately, the lab has all the contents of the antidote here and the substance itself doesn't take that long to brew. I should have it done by the time Ellington's AP English class finishes for Lunch, that is if he even went. I had 2 free study sessions since 1st period this morning so I was perfectly free to do this. I really hope this works.

After an hour of creating the antidote, Rydel walked down the corridor towards the mess hall. This was it, she thought, This is when I will get Ellington back. As she approached the doors, the cons of her plan took over her thoughts. What if I didn't brew it right and Ellington will be stuck not remembering us forever and liking that wanna be of a girl. She shook it off, she was the best in the class and of course she brewed it right. Her eyes landed on Ellington who was pearched onto a near by table talking with Maia. Bitch. Slowly, Rydel crept behind the small group and dropped a small amount of the dote into Ellington's soda, scurrying away right after to watch. At that moment, Ellington grabbed his soda and swallowed mostly all of it in one go. Rydel's breath caught in her throat, as she watched him carrying on talking to the group. Sadness washed over her, she had failed, her one and only chance to get Ellington back and she blew it. How will everyone feel? She had told them that this plan would make Ellington friends with them again and it failed.
"WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE?!" Rydel looked up to see Ellington with the biggest look of confusion on his face. Maia looked livid, this made Rydel feel victorious.
"You are here, Ell, because we are your friends remember?" Maia said as she put her hands on his chest which were immediately pushed away.
"What are you talking about? You guys used to push me into my locker in Freshman Year," Ell exclaimed pointing to two guys. Rydel remembered that, her, Ell, Riker and Vanessa had just started Freshman year and these guys used to shove them into their lockers after pouring milkshakes on their heads. "So Maia I ask you again, what am I doing here?"
At this point, Maia turned silent. "I slipped you a substance that made you lose your memory and I made you think that these were your friends and not those losers you hang out with." Ellington's face was full of disgust, someone had made him forget that the Lynches and Maranos were his friends, "Maia," she looked at him with shame, "go to hell." And with that he stormed out the main entrance of the school.
"ELL!" Rydel screamed, running after him. Thank god she wore her converse today. Ellington turned round just in time as Rydel leapt into his arms. She started crying into his shoulder as he stroked her back. She looked up at him with teary eyes, as he leaned in and planted his lips on hers.
