Riker and Vanessa.

Riker
10 minutes after the class started, the new kid walked in. Oh god! HE IS IN OUR CLASS! Can this day get any worse?
"Oh, Mr Brewer. You finally made it." Our teacher says. Oh so when Vanessa and I are late we get a detention, but when he is late he gets let off. I swear the teachers here are messed up.
"Sorry I am late. I got lost from the principal's office." I study him as he talks. Tall, brown haired, dresses cool, has swag I presume. He glances from me to Vanessa, who is sitting at the desk beside me. He stops looking at Vanessa and back to me. He is smirking.
"Why don't you tell the class a bit about yourself." That is when he nods and speaks once more.
"Well, my name is Jack Brewer (A.N. Kickin' It). I transferred here from Miami and I am an only child." He says looking at everyone until he hits Vanessa's eyes, then he stops.
"Okay. Jack, why don't you go and sit next to Vanessa? Vanessa raise your hand." Our teacher told him. Vanessa raised her hand and Jack slotted in next to her. Why? Why must he be here next to my best friend and crush? I think this world hates me.

The class slowly dragged on to a finish. That was the worse lesson ever. We had to work in pairs and Vanessa chose Jack as her partner instead of me. WHY!?? I think my life is falling out of place. As soon as the class finished, I dashed out the door. The rest of the day was boring. Vanessa didn't talk to me all day. And when we were walking home, all she was talking about was Jack and how perfect his eyes were and bla, bla, bla. The minute I walked in the house, I sprinted up to my room and flopped down on my bed after locking the door. I started to sob lightly. Why does everything have to change?

2 hours later .....
Well, I am still in my room and the guys downstairs are eating dinner while I am here sobbing in my room. I hear footsteps coming up the stairs. "Riker? Are you okay? You missed dinner." Ross was speaking to me. Obviously as he was walking down the hallway because his voice got louder the more he spoke or the closer he got to the door.
"What do you want, Ross?" I say, wiping away my tears trying to make it seem like I haven't been crying.
"Riker, I know you have been crying. Just tell me what is wrong." Dang it. Why does Ross have to be so good when it comes to people being upset? "Riker, please. Everyone is worried about you especially Vanessa."
"Yeah right." I scoff, "Vanessa didn't seem worried when we were walking home. All she could think about Jack and how perfect he is."
"Riker. She is your best friend, she could never replace you." Ross says trying comfort me.
"I think she has already replaced me." I say in a sulk. Bring on the tears-

Vanessa- Riker you thought that I replaced you?
Riker- Yeah. I felt like that you found someone better than me.
Ross- Vanessa did you not that he locked himself in his room for two weeks?
Vanessa- Riker is that true?
Riker- Yeah. Just like Ross with him and Laura, I felt lonely without you.
Vanessa- Just finish your part and I will start mine.
Riker- Ok. Carrying on.

Tears came streaming down once more. Ross kept knocking on the door and it was getting kinda annoying, so I just let him in. Instantly he hugged me and I sobbed quietly on his shoulder.
"Shhh Riker. Just let it all out." That is when I went all out. Full blown crying session had started and could tell that Ross felt his shoulder getting wetter and wetter by the second.

Vanessa
We all were sitting at the table eating dinner while I telling them about Jack. The only person that wasn't with us was Riker. Ross had gone up to check on him. Riker had been acting all weird today. He seemed miserable. I glanced over to Laura to see her picking her a food. Strange. She never does that. Then I look at everyone else, they were all the same. I groaned and left the table to go and text Jack. I walked up the the stairs to hear sobs coming from Riker's room. I shook if off and entered my room.

Hey Jack!
I sent and waited. It could be minutes, hours before he replies. I then hear my phone bing and see that he had replied. Well that was fast.
Sup Vanessa! What up?
Not much. Just had dinner. U? I replied
Listening to my radio. Hey could meet at school courtyard tomorrow at free period, I want to ask you something? He asked.
Sure. See you then. Bye :)
Bye Vanessa
I sighed happily and tucked up into bed. Tomorrow is going to be a very good day.
