Ross and Laura

Laura
I was at cheerleading practice when my head started to hurt again. Third time this week and all it is are pictures of me and the blond boy from the park. I carried on knowing that later today it will happen again. I look at the cheerleaders and think. Then a whole lot of images pop into my mind. I can't carry on. I have to get home. I tell them that I don't feel well and need to rest. They nod their heads as I walk away. What does all of this mean. Who even is this boy?

As I walk down the street, I look over to see a house that looks so familiar but I just can't put my finger on it. I know this house but I don't know why. I shake it off and just keep on walking. How comes I knew that house when I have never seen it before? I walk inside my home and see Vanessa on the couch watching TV. As usual. I try not to draw her attention to me but the sound of our stupid creaking door made her turn her head to me.
"Laura, I need to speak to you." She said kind of rude-

Vanessa- Laura I never said that rudely.
Laura- Yes you did you glared at me when you said it, then you rolled your eyes.
Vanessa- Oh yeah, carry on
Laura- As I was saying

"Laura, I need to speak to you." She said kind of rudely. Wow, I have never seen Vanessa like this before. What have I done to her now. "Sit" she pointed to the couch. Normally I wouldn't do something if she told me to but by the look on her face I do sit.
"What has happened to you? You used to hang out with Ross everyday, but today I get a call from Riker saying that Ross is crying his eyes out because you forgot him." She says with a tone of hatred. It is like she has been taken over by the devil.
"Who are you talking about?" I literally have no idea who she is talking about. Suddenly her face boils up. I have never seen this Vanessa before and trust me, I don't want to ever again. I hear her gasp and run up the stairs. About 30 seconds later see comes back down with some kind of hat. Oh god, what is she doing now? She places it on my head and tells me to think. I close my eyes and think very hard. I don't know what I am suppose to be thinking about so I just think about school. Then I am interrupted by more pictures of me and the blond boy from the park. Then I remember his name, his birthday, his family, and most importantly, him.

Ross.

"Oh Vanessa, what have I done? I made my best friend in the whole world think I forgot him." I say between sobs.
"Laura, wake up. Don't you see that you have to go to Ross' house and tell him that you remember him. And you better go now." She says looking at her phone.
"Why?"
"Because Riker just texted me saying that Ross hasn't come out of his room for three days and he has been refusing to eat. And now he is refusing to talk to anyone even Stormie."
That was when it hit me. Ross hasn't been eating. I run upstairs to my room to get out of this cheerleading uniform and into a purple sweater, black leggings with snow boots. I dash downstairs and out the door without saying goodbye to Ness.

Ness can wait.
I need to save my best friend.
