Breakfast was extremely awkward. Nobody talked. The only people not sitting here were Ross and Laura, as they went to their job this morning. They babysit 4-5 year olds. I looked towards Riker, who looked like he had just been run over by a bus. He suddenly stood, mumbled a quick, "I'm not hungry," and ran upstairs. Well that was weird. My phone buzzed and I saw a message from Jack:

Hey babe, meet me @ park in 15. X -Jack

I replied with an 'ok'. I love Jack a lot. He is the best boyfriend ever, but the Lynches and Laura don't know we are dating. I will bring Jack home with me and we can tell them. I hope that they will approve especially the Lynch boys, they are super over protective. Once when Ross was taking Laura on a date, the others acted like they were her dad and that Ross was irresponsible kid. I have to admit it was very funny. I still have it on video, I tease- wait, I am going off topic. I quickly stand up and run upstairs avoiding everyone's glances. I walk past Riker and Rocky's room and all I can hear is sobbing. I shrug, it is probs Rocky- BUT Rocky is downstairs, and Riker isn't. I lean against the door to her him whispering something. One thing about Riker is that he whispers really, really loudly. Once in Maths when we were having a pop quiz and Riker whispered something and the teacher over heard and he got a detention. You may think, he was only whispering. Yeah, the teacher was on the other side of the classroom.

I turn to knock but instantly rethink. I sigh and walk to my room. I have to get ready but when I get home I will ask him about it.

Riker

I sat on my bed in mine and Rocky's room, sobbing about Vanessa and that evil best friend and crush stealing jerk, Jack. From the day in that Maths class when he first laid eyes on Vanessa and I, he somehow knew that I liked her and was determined to take her away. I feel like my life is even more over than it was before. I just lay there staring at the ceiling, with tears streaming down my pale face, thinking that if I stay here long enough then the ground will swallow my up.

I think that it is almost 7, I can't really remember, I looked at the clock 20 minutes ago but I couldn't see the numbers because my vision was blurry from all the tears earlier in the day. I heard some knocks on the door, "Riker are you in there?" Ross and Laura are back. YAY! Note the sarcasm. "Riker open the bloody door before I get chainsaw and break it down." Wow Laura really wants to help. Oh wait, you thought Ross said that? No it was Laura. I stand up and open the door. I don't look at them, I think the floor has something to show me because I kept staring at it, "Riker look at us." I sigh knowing that Ross is using the friendly and caring card. When we were younger all of us used to go to Ross to help us with problems, but we always used to go to him, we forgot to let him do the same. When Ross and Laura were 12, Ross got bullied so badly that he thought about killing himself. But Laura convinced him not to. She was the one who stood up to help him and us as his siblings felt guilty that we never noticed how Ross was feeling.

"Speak." They say together I say and explain. After, they hug me and sit me down on the bed. For 10 minutes they stay with me and then leave to have some food because they missed breakfast. The door downstairs opened and closed, closely followed by Vanessa's voice. "Guys i'm home."

My phones dings notifying me about something. I look to see what it was and I see a message from an unknown number, it read

'Hey blondie, Jack here. Vanessa is so stupid not noticing my lips pinker than usual. That is right, I am cheating on her. She is an ugly bitch. And you're no better.

That is it. I go downstairs and drag Vanessa to my room. I throw her on the bed to make her look up at me while I cross my arms.
"What is your problem dude? I thought we are not on talking terms." Ohh, so we are playing the Cocky Vanessa card. Well the Angry Riker card is coming.
"Oh yeah well, why don't don't you ask your boyfriend about how much he actually cares about you?" She puts a confused look on her face. I show her my phone and she looks at me angrily.
"HOW DARE YOU!" What?, "THINKING YOU COULD BECOME FRIENDS WITH ME AGAIN PRETENDING THAT JACK SENT YOU THAT!!! WOW RIKER I KNEW YOU WERE DESPERATE BUT I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE THAT DESPERATE!" That is it. I grab her closer to me and I smash my lips on hers. I was about to rethink when she did something I never thought she would do in a million years......

She kissed back.....
