I am standing here kissing Riker when I am dating someone else, but I didn't care. I now believe Riker. I have to admit, when I am with Jack all I can think about is Riker. And the last time I was with Jack, which was only a couple of hours ago, I did notice that his lips were pinker than usual. I think it has been way over ten minutes, and I suppose we both need air to breath. As we pull away, I look into two of the most beautiful eyes. I realise now that I never loved Jack, I just thought I did but the whole time, the only person I loved was Riker. He looks at me and goes, "Vanessa I am so sorry that I just-" oh no he is apologising for the kiss, better cut him off. I kiss him again, he is kinda surprised then he kisses back.
"What a lovely way to get me to shut up." I giggle when he said that.
"Riker," I start, "what are we?" He smiles and grabs my hands.
"Vanessa, I have known you for forever. When we started High School, that was when my feelings for you started. I knew you didn't have feelings for me so I kept them a secret. 4 years I waited and I felt like I should tell you. Then Jack came along and took you away but when I got that text I knew that I should tell you that I liked you. And know that I know that you have feelings back. Vanessa, will you be my girlfriend?" I could tell that he was nervous. I cup his face and I stroke his cheek while I nod my head smiling. He kisses me with so much passion that it feels like cannons are exploding.
Vanessa- And that is mine and Riker's story.
