“Sho… Shoto… Hey, Sho,” I heard. I opened an eye, then the other, only to realize what was happening.
My fangs were in his neck, with the sweet taste of his blood in my mouth. Of course, I loved it, but still felt terrible about it.
I carefully removed my long canines from his skin, licking the blood around my mouth as I looked at him in guilt and shame.
“Sorry…” I muttered quietly. He gave me a small smile, one filled with love.
“It’s okay, I was just taken off guard,” he told me, keeping his lovely smile. I still felt guilty, and I’m relatively sure that he noticed that, as my expression showed it all. “I don’t mind you taking my blood. If you like it, you can take some. Blood is replaceable. Like I said, I was just taken off guard, that’s all.” I nodded slightly. “Are you full, or do you want more?” I hesitated with my answer.
“I do want more…” I said, barely audible. However, Izu heard it.
“Well then you can have more. Like I said, I don’t mind,” he smiled. I checked for any signs that he didn’t want to, or any signs that he was hesitant about this decision. To my surprise, he wasn’t. His heartbeat slightly increased at the thought, but other than that he was 100% sure about this decision.
“Are you sure?” I asked, still needing this to be confirmed. He nodded.
“Of course I’m sure. I wouldn’t be telling you that you can have more blood if I didn’t want it. Besides, I’m like 99% sure that you can sense if I’m hesitant or not-”
“Make that 100%. It’s true, I did check,” I cut him off. He smirked.
“Okay, 100% sure that you can sense if I’m hesitant or not. It doesn’t bother me that you’re hungry.”
“Yeah, hungry for blood…” I muttered. “I’m surprised that that doesn’t bother you at all.”
“It isn’t your fault that you drink blood. It’s the only thing you can live off of. It’s food to you, so it shouldn’t bother me if all you're doing is eating food, even if it is blood,” he explained. I nodded, still craving his blood. “Either way you’re still hungry. You even admitted it. Here,” he said, clearing a bare spot on his neck for me to bite. I looked at him again, checking for any sign that he was hesitant one more time. He wasn’t hesitant, he was being serious.
“Thanks,” I muttered, bringing my nose down to his neck. I breathed in the scent, making me wanna taste the sweet red liquid flowing through his neck.
I bit down on the silky smooth skin, welcoming the warm, fresh blood into my mouth. I loved it, the warm feeling flowing through me as I gulped down the red liquid from his warm neck.
Again, that feeling of home flooded throughout my body as I gulped down more of the delicious blood. I forgot about the environment around me, as my main focus was now on my boyfriend’s neck. I loved his blood, it being so hypnotizing to want it all.
When it came to this moment, I couldn’t help myself. I wanted it all, blocking out any distractions that would stop me. I held my boyfriend in place, more firmly than before as I bit down more, more of his warm blood filling my mouth.
“S-Shoto,” I heard, but blocked out the sound. Soon enough, I felt myself trying to be pushed away. Not realizing, I held him down firmer, still continuing to drink his blood. I loved his blood, and didn’t plan on pulling away any time soon. I couldn’t control my body at this point. I just wanted. Wanted that amazing, warm, fresh and sweet blood.
“What’s with all the noise in he-” I heard a loud, familiar voice. I immediately snapped back to my normal thoughts, carefully removing my fangs from my boyfriend's neck. I turned to look, already knowing who was there as my eyes widened.
There was a very long moment of silence. My eyes were wide, staring at my father who had just walked in on me drinking my boyfriend’s blood. I was guessing that he had just gotten back from hero work, as I had checked earlier, it was midnight.
Blood was dripping from my mouth, along with Izu’s neck as it was also dripping from the two puncture marks I left there.
“Shoto, what’s going on here?” My father asked firmly. I gulped, clearing my mouth and throat from any of the blood that was left over in my mouth.
“I-I kinda got hungry…” I looked down, ashamed that I couldn’t stop myself from taking more.
“It’s fine though, I let him,” Izu said, standing up for me. “I let him. To him, my blood is better than anything else. It helps him, and I don’t mind giving it to him,” he spoke truthfully. My father still seemed skeptical about it though.
“And you’re fine with this as well,” he raised an eyebrow at me. I continued looking down, but nodded.
“Yes… although you might’ve just saved his life…” I trailed off, still incredibly ashamed of myself.
“Shoto!” Izu scolded. I looked up at him, blood still on my chin.
“It’s true… if he didn’t walk in, I could’ve killed you,” I stated truthfully. Izu stayed silent. “It was like I couldn’t control myself and what I was thinking. The blood… it was almost like it was too strong… it basically hypnotized me…” I spoke my mind truthfully. Both my father and Izu seemed surprised by this.
“Well if you can’t control yourself with it then, then I don’t think you should drink from him directly,” my father told me. I couldn’t help but agree with him, although I’d be sad about it. Yes, the stuff he bought allowed me to not be hungry, but it was Izu’s blood that truly took away any stinging in my throat. His blood actually filled me, and I felt no pain after drinking it.
“Okay…” I looked down again, sad. I did agree though. If I couldn’t stop myself from drinking more of his blood, then it wasn’t safe to do it at all.
Izu also looked sad because of this. He had told me before that he was proud. Proud that his blood could make me that happy. Proud that he was the only one that could give me that much of an effect when it came to drinking blood.
“Now go get cleaned up. I doubt you’d wanna sleep with blood all over your face,” he told me. He then turned to Izu. “And you should probably clean your neck as well. Again, I don’t think you’d wanna sleep with blood all over your neck,” he said. Izu nodded.
“Yeah, okay,” he said. “C’mon Sho,” he said, attempting to get up. I had to end up catching him since he was so weak.
“You okay?!?” I asked worriedly. He looked up at me and smiled.
“Yeah, just kinda wobbly from the blood loss,” he said and giggled slightly. I felt bad.
“Sorry…” I told him, frowning.
“Nono, it’s okay. Don’t apologize,” he said. I picked him up bridal-style, and looked at my father. I have no clue why, but I felt the need to thank him.
“Thanks…” I muttered. He raised an eyebrow.
“For what?” He asked, crossing his arms.
“For walking in… if you didn’t, I might’ve killed Izu…” I glanced down, sad.
“Just don’t do it again. And Midoriya, if it happens again, just yell. Someone will come and stop him, especially in this house,” My father told him. Izu weakly nodded.
“Okay…” he said. My father turned to leave, me then bringing us both into the bathroom to clean up.
“I’m sorry…” I muttered, still feeling very bad about what happened.
“It’s fine, but I’m kinda curious. Why didn’t you stop when I told you to? Instead of pulling away, you bit down harder and held me down more.” I helped him stand, him gripping to the sink as I got a washrag to get the now dried blood off of my chin and mouth.
“I just… couldn’t stop. All I could think at that moment of time was to drink more. I couldn’t get my brain away from that thought. It was the only thing filling my head at that time,” I told him truthfully, getting the rag wet. “I just couldn’t think straight…”
“It’s okay, I don’t blame you,” he told me.
“Why not? I was clearly the one who did it, so I should be the one to blame,” I asked, tilting my head slightly. He looked at me with a cute look, then ruffled my hair which I always found soothing and nice.
“You couldn’t stop yourself. Like you just said, you couldn’t stop those thoughts. It wasn’t your fault. It wasn’t you during that time. Vampire instincts, wasn’t you,” he said with a soft and calm voice. I smiled softly, wiping the now dried blood off from my chin.
I helped him clean the bite wound. It was rather deep, but nothing that couldn’t heal. I put a bandaid over the wound, as both puncture holes had started bleeding again. This way it prevented them from getting any worse.
We got back to bed, me this time not snuggling into his neck which was a disappointment. We slept side-by-side, again, disappointed. I loved the scent of his blood, as it made me happy. However, like my father said, I shouldn't get overly close to his neck anymore as it risks more biting.
Izu had already lost enough blood, therefore I didn’t want to risk him losing any more.
He fell asleep before I did, as his body was probably exhausted after all the blood loss. I didn’t mind much, as I also drifted off into a light sleep not long after him (Light sleep cause he’d be a deeper sleeper during the day, although he can still sleep at night, just lighter, kinda like a nap).
