A Popularity Project Gone Wrong: Chapter Four
I woke up to the sound of my alarm buzzing which caused me to moan dreadfully as I looked at the time: 7:01 AM. Grr, why did school have to start at 8:30? I need my beauty sleep anyway! It's been a week since I've been here and it's actually nice. Although a lot of things are expensive, everything I saw and brought was so damn beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was how early schools were."Wake up honey!" Rosalie chirped loudly as she bursts into my room. I moan dreadfully once more and pull the covers over my head! I was dreaming about me being Taylor Launter's girlfriend and now my dream was gone forever.
"No" I replied sleepily as I closed my eyes shut. Come on Launter, come back into my dreams hot stuff!
"Serena Davis! Get up!" Rosalie yelled which caused me to jump a little. Yikes, if Scream were a girl, she would have gotten that part.
"No" I repeated more tiredly.
"That's it!" Rosalie exclaimed, "I'm getting a water bottle!"
Crap!
"No, no, no!" I replied to her frightened, "I'm up, I'm up!"
I threw my covers off of my body, ran my fingers through my messy hair, stood up, and stretched. "Happy now?"
"Yes, get ready for school hon," Rosalie said nicely before departing. Once the door was closed, I felt like jumping into my bed, but I decided against it. If I wanted to look beautiful on the first day of school, I might as get ready now.
I slipped on my teal colored glasses and shuffled into the bathroom. I pulled out my contacts, take off my glasses, and insert the contacts. I smiled happily, they looked so gorgeous on me. I picked out a stylish outfit, slipped it on, fixed my hair, and put on makeover. I also organized my backpack slipping in my makeup bag in there in case.
When I was finished, the clock read: 7:45 AM. With a sigh, I swing my backpack over my shoulder and fixed my gorgeous top. I walked downstairs grabbing my toothpaste and toothbrush. As soon as I make it downstairs, my parents were eating breakfast and watching Bones at the same time. I never watched it before, but I heard it was good. I'm more into Pretty Little Liars and Degrassi though.
"Good morning sweetheart," My dad greeted me as he stood up and gave me a hug, "Breakfast is on the table."
I glanced the plate which had cinnamon waffles, eggs, and bacon. Yum and he even topped it off with orange juice! "Thanks dad" I said before digging in.
After twenty minutes of eating, I brushed my teeth carefully and quickly before Rosalie told me it was time to go. I waved bye to dad who suddenly became too interested in Bones to wave back. I laughed as his actions. Once we made it into the car, I buckled up and took a deep breath. The jittery feelings were coming back and I felt awfully nervous. What if I get bullied again?
"You'll be fine." Rosalie told me reading my expressions, "I promise."
"I hope so," I replied back nervously. For all now everyone in my school can be obesed or aliens or- what the heck? Am I going crazy?!
I decided to just close my eyes until the car stopped in front of my new school. "Serena, we're here."
I opened my eyes and looked at the big green and white building. Corona Hills High was nicely embedded into the building and a bunch of people with shortie shorts and cute tanks tops walked around chatting nicely. I gulped, I hope I will meet friends too and rock the school!
