A Popularity Project Gone Wrong: Chapter Seven
I quickly scurried into my purse to find my keys. Please do not get caught please! I smiled to myself as soon as I found my keys and briskly opened the front door. I locked it behind me, kicked off my flip flops, and immediately flew upstairs. Once I made it to my room, I took off my cover up and slipped on Pajamas over my bikini. I also searched for a scarf to cover up my big bandage, but before I knew it my door was flung open."Serena?! What were you doing outside?" My Dad asked me. Oh crap, he already saw me outside. Duh, his blinkers probably flashed on me while I was barging into the house. Gosh, I'm in hot water now!
"To be honest, I went to a friend's," I lied with a shrug. He rolled his eyes and blew his breath. I gulped, I hope he didn't discover I was lying. There was no way that I could tell that I went to a beach party especially since I didn't ask.
"What happened to your head?" He asked me.
"I fell down, it'll heal soon," I replied.
He sighed. "Well that's you get for not asking me to go to your friend's house. They are always consequences."
I tried to nod and smile, but all I did was roll my eyes. I didn't need a speech from my Dad because I already know he would have chewed me out if he knew the truth.
"Goodnight Dad," I murmured once he was done.
"Night sweetie," He kissed my bump and I winced, "Sorry honey"
"Whatever," I told him with a smile, "Night again and tell Rosalie I said night,"
My Dad laughed, "A lot of nights, but alrighty then"
When he departed, I took off my clothes and took a quick shower. As I was bathing, my mind circulated back to the situation with Keith and I. He acted pissed when he was driving me home and I was beginning to ask myself if I even like him anymore. I don't know what was happening with me, I really liked him and I'm just unsure? I took a deep breath and pushed my thoughts away. This was too much to think about!
After my shower, I got dressed and went to bed. Hopefully, I will discover my true feelings for Keith soon if there is any.

"Wake up!" A familar voice shouted in my face. I opened my eyes and saw Rosalie smiling back at me. I took a deep breath and sat up sleepily, where are my contacts? I even don't even remember putting them up. With a painful sigh, I took my glasses from the dresser and swiped them on.
"How long was I asleep?" I asked her.
"It's 1:05 PM right now," She replied.
"Shit," I muttered angrily.
"See, that's the problem." Rosalie told me with an annoyed look on her face. I glanced back at her curiously, what did she mean?
"What problem?" I asked her.
"You're acting so different, I mean how come you didn't ask to go to your friend's last night and now you're cussing?!" Rosalie asked shockingly, "What's going on with you? Tell me!"
"There's nothing going on!" I lied.
"Oh yeah then how come you never wear your glasses and why did you fall asleep with your contacts on?" Rosalie questioned me.
"I did?" I asked.
"Yes and I took them off for you! What's going on?" She asked again.
"Nothing!"
