When monday came around, I felt shivers throughout my spine. After dumping soda on Keith, finding out the truth from Kimi, and ending my friendship with Cassidy, I know the populars are going to get revenge. I was nervous as to what this "revenge" was. None of my "friends" knew that I wore contacts and I was a total sore loser back in San Diego. I wanted to be myself, but it would have to take sometime. I will never trust someone so easily anymore and my own personality is back, but I'm ready to tell anyone about my makeover yet.

Sighing, I hopped out of bed and slipped my glasses on. It's been a while since I have wore them so the sensation felt awkward for me. Everytime I put back on my glasses, I remember getting bullied and teased for my ugly looks and pimples. I took them off immediately and hopped back on my bed sobbing.

The tears fell from my eyes as fast as the waterfalls flow. I felt ashamed of what I had done, I had trusted people who broken my heart and it had taken over my entire body. I couldn't be myself anymore without courage and I wanted to be myself. I wanted to find love, I wanted to be happy, but I just couldn't. My heart was messed up and I felt like the shattered pieces were going to fall out of my chest very soon.

I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down and told myself that everything was going to be okay. Even though my shattered heart and insecurities told me otherwise, I sat up once again on my bed and slipped on my glasses. Ignoring my sadden thoughts, I look in my closet and settle for a heart patterened top and some stylish jeans.

After slipping on my clothes, I walked into the bathroom and glanced at my face. My eyes were a bit red due to my sobbing and I definitely had some ugly bags underneath my eyes. I sighed, I couldn't believe this was taken over my entire body. I need to get over this and thankfully, I was well informed before the plan actually did happen. I opened my cabinet and pulled out my contacts with a frown. They were bright green and I suddenly wondered what would everyone react to my real hazel colored eyes? I shook off the thought though because who cares what eyes look like, all they care about was hurting my feelings.

I took off my glasses and washed my face making sure it was nice and clean as possible. After the wash, I smiled at my reflection.  I squinted my eyes and saw that my face look a bit better so I slipped on my green colored contacts. Once that was out of the way, I tried to put my hair into a french braid, but it would react. I huffed, I guess a messy bun will do for now.

After doing my hair, I clicked off the light and packed my backpack making sure I had everything for my classes. I suddenly heard my phone buzz which meant I recieved a new text. I took a deep breath, picked up my phone, and read the message.

From: Kimi <3

Hai Serena, I was just wondering if u were doing okay? U hung up on me yesterday and I got all worried about u :o. I hope ur okay and if you wanna talk, I'm here (:

I smiled at the message, thanks to Kimi, I would have fallen through Keith's stupid plan. I wasn't sure if I could trust Kimi right now though, everyone isn't always what they seem. On the other hand, she did help me and thanks to her, Keith and Cassidy's evil plan was ruined. I sighed, I guess I can just text her back and say that I'm fine.

To: Kimi <3

Hi Kimi, I'm doing ok. Thanks for the info C:

After pressing send, I clicked off my phone and threw it into my backpack. I slipped the backpack onto my shoulder and left my room to go downstairs. As I walked down the staircase, I felt my stomach grow butterflies. I was already nervous about going to school, but thankfully, Kimi comforted me. My butterflies weren't as bad as the emotions I felt when I woken up this morning.

I walked towards the kitchen seeing Dad and Rosalie laughing happily. I threw my backpack on the floor and smiled at them, I was glad that they were happy this morning. "Good morning, how was your sleep?" My dad asked as he kissed my head.
