Shigaraki: He finds out

Dabi POV

It was hard to concentrate to say the least. Well for the first part I was nearly killed and almost did nothing about it. I could've easily moved at the moment of Shigs pouncing. But I just didn't feel like it. I thought if I'd stay there and die then the League would've just taken my word about Afo. However, stupid Fate never wants me to die. I believe I am either not killable, or I ACTUALLY have something to live for.

I grab my laptop from my bed next to me and Shigs. I had it ready for him to read. The document was called "Mission: Successor". Yeah you would've read it too if you saw it. To be completely honest, Afo only had really specifically villainy documentation. It all just was old plans to defeat the OFA users - from his brother to All might - and old theories of who were each successor of each user. There was also information gatherings, nomu (important ones) ideas and analytics, allying with certain villains, formulas/drugs and the typical lot.

I remember the time when Toga was listing in the group chat things we knew about All might. She bluffed on the protégé part only for him to panic. We know it's a UA student, we got a good idea who it is but we aren't 'sure', to say the least.

I show him the file and he immediately grabs the laptop. Toga and Kurogiri peak behind him over his shoulder to get a good read.

There are three sections in Afo's view of this: The part where he meets Shigaraki, Shigaraki's backstory and Nana Shimura, and finally the plan of grooming him and forcing his conscious onto him to live on young.

I want to say 'You might want to skip a few bits' but I didn't. I sit on my bed and wait. They'll get to it.

I was nearly asleep when I heard a sniff. It was 00:23. I look up to see the littlest tears escaping Shigaraki's eyes. Toga looks awkward. Kurogiri put his head downwards in sign of 'Oh dear'.

I stand up and take the laptop. As I put it on my bed, Toga hugs Shigaraki firmly by the neck but also gently. He wipes his eyes.

"What now?" He asks shivering. I don't know, Shiggy. Toga loosens a bit and looks confused. He elaborates "I became a villain only for him, I had no other reason for but one. He made me feel great about hurting people, nearly killing innocent people. It's too late to change... it's too late", his voice was getting shakier and he was slightly trembling. Toga let's go of him.

Kurogiri then reminds him "Didn't the heroes say that they would put a compromise on you if they catch you, Tomura?". True, but only Eraser really texted that.

Shigaraki replies sharply back "They are probably just lying.". Hmmm, also true.

But he continues "But, I'll turn myself in". Oh, damn.

"What do you mean 'turn yourself in'!??" Toga suddenly protests loudly "Don't you remember what you said to us? 'We'll destroy what we hate in this world and build upon that'? We can't give up so easily, Tomura! I understand you don't want to do this anymore but please don't just go to prison and give up!!".

Poor Toga. We all try our best to help her the most to be positive and keep her happy. Shigaraki had indeed promised her in the past to destroy what we ALL hated.

He puts her hand on heart and smiles sadly "Toga, I didn't say I would stop trying to destroy what we all hate; I said I don't want to hurt people anymore. Plus, maybe the heroes would hear us out and try to inspire society to be better so less future villains would appear" he lets go of her hand "I'll say to them myself on what we all want".

Wow, he changed quickly. Like, as soon as he realises the true manipulative behaviour of Afo, he hops into the other side.

However, He's planning on going alone. I know I have a precise step to step plan to expose Endeavor and ruin his reputation, but I can't just let him go alone. I've been postponing my plan for days now because I didn't know if the public would hate him for pushing me to villainy, or just birthing me to this world.

"Do you mean you going alone Tomura?" Kurogiri asks, and Shigs just nods, he it's his head down. "If so, I'll join. My thoughts have been recently telling me that I should run from Afo, and I haven't because I wanted to protect you. I don't know if we'll see each other in Tartarus, if that's where we'll be taken, but we will still be close."

"We'll join too! It's no point to be villains without you as our leader!" Toga exclaimed, jumping around.

Shigaraki smiles at us and Toga hugs Shigaraki again, this time by the torso, and keeps jumping for joy. He's smiling with all his teeth genuinely. Hmmm, never thought I'd live to see the day to see that ever happening.

They all suddenly turn to me. "Right Dabi?" Toga says passive aggressively.

I sigh "Yeah, yeah" trying to sound fake annoyed. I then remember something. I ask "But can I finish make the formula thing?" hinting to the two about Kurogiri. He probably didn't know what I was talking about while Togs and Shiggy nod silently.

"Plus, they might take our phones and figure out that we are the 'Four people who hacked into 1a's group chat and have been messing with them'. So we need to be a bit prepared for questioning." I add on.
