3 Months Later

"I don't know, Jack," I say as we are in my room both standing on opposite sides "What do you mean you don't know?" He says confused "You either want to be with me or you don't," He says crossing his arms and I sigh 

"I do want to be with you Jack but right now I can't," I say with tears running down my face "Why not?" He says with his voice breaking 

"Because Jack, It's so hard, We haven't seen each other since we wrapped filming, you are out doing amazing things that I'm so proud of you for but sometimes I feel like I'm putting my life on pause for you," I say while moving my arms around like a crazy person 

"I never asked you to put your life on pause for me though, I've been busy I can't fly out here all the time to see you," He says and I just look at him "Jack, I know you didn't ask me, but you're my boyfriend you come before anything else and I wanted to be there for you but I can't keep doing that," I say 

"And you never flew out, ever. I get that you can't be here all the time because you have work, and that's completely fine with me but I can't go without talking to you for days on end because you either forgot to answer before you fell asleep or you just forget completely," I say and tears form in his eyes 

"I'm sorry, Thea," He says walking a bit closer to me "I know you are, Jack, but I'm leaving the country for filming in two days, It's not gonna work," I say and he shakes his head 

"We can make it work," He says hopeful "If it didn't work when we were a couple states away, it's not gonna work if we are a country away," I say whipping my face

"Please Thea," He begs and I look away "Jack, I love you, but right now, is not our time," I say and I hear him sob

"I love you, Thea," He says while walking toward me and pulling me in for a hug "I know, and I promise as soon as we both can give each other our full attention for this relationship then we will find our way back to each other," I say holding him close 

"I understand, and I agree with you but this hurts," he says as I lean my head on his chest "I will never love anyone the way I do you, Jack," I say as he runs his hands through my hair 

"And I will never ever love anyone the way I love you, Thea," he says as we just hold each other "Promise me that we will still text," I say and he laughs "Of course, I couldn't imagine a life without you in it," He says and I smile 

He left shortly after that, not really saying a word just taking in each other's company while we still could. We said our goodbyes and shared one last kiss while each praying we'd see one another sooner than later. Jack Champion will always be my first and last true love, even if we aren't together anymore.

I will always be grateful for that one night in my black dress when we finally became official, I wish I could have lived in that moment longer, I wish things didn't have to end like this, but I couldn't fathom putting myself through anything more pain waiting to see or even hear from him. It's better this way.

I am so sorry. I just need a reason to write a second book because I really wanted to but couldn't think of anything else. But my new book "Last Kiss" should be published later tonight or tomorrow! it's the second to dress so yea. read it. I might regret this and even change my mind and completely rewrite the ending but for now, this is it.
