Nathan sat on his single sofa. There was a two person sofa next to him, so together the seats made an L shape. Liu sat on the end closest to Nathan whilst hoodie sat on the other end further away from him to avoid anymore confrontations.

"So the times..." Nathan spoke in disbelief as he took a breath "the times we let you into our home, when we would let you stay there, feed you, offer you our company... grieved together about my sister...you could've gotten your hands stained with someone's blood that very same day like nothing happened?!"

Nathan didn't sound angry anymore, he was upset. Liu had seen this exact look before, when he told Sally the first time, that same look of betrayal in her eyes. Liu never thought it would be happening again.

"We kill people who have also done bad...sometimes. I know it still doesn't make it entirely right...and sometimes we do kill innocent people but-" Liu had to force himself to stop talking. He struggled to get his words out, how could he make Nathan understand?

"And Sally knew the whole time? You let her stay around you and the others?"

"No"'Liu replied with worry, not wanting Nathan to go into a panic. "Not the whole time. Look- if- if I could've kept her away from us, I would've okay? But I had no choice, I needed help protecting her"

"You couldn't have just called me?" Nathan frowned

"Not when it all first happened no, the less people involved the better..and the culprit wasn't like any normal person, she was worse...and stronger than us" Liu continued "she threatened your grandparents safety and your sisters, I wasn't going to let her stay vulnerable"

"Did anyone of them hurt her?" Nathan asked knowing he wasn't going to like the answer.

"There we're definitely misunderstandings at first..." Nathan snapped to look at Liu with a glare in his eyes "but-" he continued sternly "but they all care now, just as much as me, they love her Nathan... and she loves them too..."

"And what about our family?" Nathan argued "Sally never went back home, we were abandoned. We were manipulated by that son of a bitch to think it was normal!" he gritted gesturing to hoodie who was leaning back on the sofa with his eyes closed. He was weak.

"He remembered...what I did to him at the house because I wasn't strong enough" hoodie mentioned turning his head at Liu.

"You see this?" Liu sat closer to hoodie making Nathan look over at him. His tone was protective as he saw his friends state.
"my brothers have been none stop searching for Sally. Just like you. Hoodie is killing himself just to find her. We're trying to make it up to your family because we care about you all! Hoodie saved your grandmas life, he helped me in comfort her whilst she was near death! We are exhausting ourselves because we love her Nathan. The police won't ever find her but we can!"

"How is it even possible?" Nathan's eyes began to tear up as his anger and grief built up inside again. "how the FUCK is she alive?"

"It's hard to explain but I promise I will tell it all to you" Liu stood up and Nathan stood up with him. "But I need your help- By the end of this week we'll be setting out to try and get Sally back but we still haven't got everything together yet, it's why we're not rushing out. Ben is tiring himself to the max to get as close as he can to find her and we may be close. I need you and hoodie to be ready to come with us" Liu stated.

"So what do you need me for?" Nathan asked folding his arms

"If hoodie continues being careless he'll die before we even get to her. Please let him stay here for a few nights, he shouldn't be going anywhere, he needs to rest and just not do anything. He's done more than enough to help us get a lead"

"You want me to help him? After he manipulated me?!" Nathan questioned

"I know you're pissed. You have every right to be, but If he didn't then we wouldn't be as close as we are now to finding Sally. That criminal is doing a better job than everyone else on the force"

After moments of silence Nathan found him caving in as he let out a sigh "fine"

"Thank you" Liu showed his appreciation as his hands were placed upon Nathan's shoulders. "We won't forget this"

"Whatever..." Nathan glanced at hoodie and then back to Liu "just go do what you guys need to do so we can get her"

"Of course" Liu nodded as he stepped away from Nathan. He adjusted his scarf and long coat as he crouched down in front of Hoodie. The worn figure couldn't bring himself to sit up as he looked towards Liu.

"Rest here and come home when you have some of your strength back. We'll handle everything over there. I've got word from Toby that Ben isn't doing so good either, I don't know what's gotten into you guys but I'm worried..." Liu sighed.

"How..." hoodie tried his best to get his words out despite his exhaustion and difficulty to breathe "how did you know that she's alive?"

Liu couldn't help but glance at hoodie sympathetically.

As liu walked through the streets he heard his phone ring and he wasted no time answering it.

"I told you the stash in my drawer" Liu spoke into the phone after seeing it was Masky's caller ID.

"No it's not that" he sighed.

"Then what?" He questioned confused.

"Hoodie said I shouldn't say anything but I think it's for the best since you're headed over there"

———

Hoodie couldn't help but let out a weak huff with a smile leaning his head back.

"You two have switched roles and it's scaring me. I know Sully has missed this side of you" Liu joked squeezing hoodies hand with comfort. Nathan stood watching in silence with his arms folded.

Hoodie couldn't help but let out a low chuckle agreeing with his statement.

"You best keep that prick away"

"I'm trying" he smirked.

"Just don't keep something that important from me again, but you've already done enough so I won't punch you"

Liu stood up facing Nathan once more as he approached him gently.
"If he's staying here with you. There is one thing you do need to know"
