Dream state

Marley stood in a field, she was all alone, until a figure walked up to her. Its Alec. “Alec?!” Marley exclaimed.

“Yeah, its me Marley.” Alec nodded.

“This is a dream right?” Marley asked.

Alec nodded. “Yeah of sorts.”

“How are you so young?” Marley asked. “You look as young as when I met you.”

Alec smiled. “Yeah, I’m young now. But I want to tell you something.”

“Okay, tell me.” Marley told him.

“I want you to have another great love, to live a full life, an another immortal. What you couldn’t have with me. I want you to be happy, Marley.” Alec looked at her. “Please, be happy!”

Marley teared up. “I will, but you will always be my first love! The one that I shared everything with! And I will always love you, Alexander, Alec Lightwood.”

“I will always love you too, Marley Lightwood. Now be happy!” Alec smiled.

End of dream state

-------------------

Marley woke up and gasped. “Alec!” She hurried out of bed as then Damon came in.

“Wha...?! Why the hurry?” Damon asked.

“I need to speak with my father and maybe the children!” Marley called, she waved with hand and she had different clothes on.

“Why would you do that? You just woken up from a head injury.” Damon reasoned with her.

“Oh this is nothing compared with what I used to do.” Marley shrugged. “My father would heal me and it’s no biggy.”

Damon blinked. “No biggy?! You were bleeding, Marley!”

“I know.” Marley sighed. “Look I don’t want to argue, but I need to get downstairs. Like right now!”

Damon sighed. “Can you at least tell me what happened?”

“Its awkward to say to you.” Marley replied to him.

“Why?” Damon asked.

Marley sighed. “Its Alec, he came to me in a dream and told me to be happy.” She didn’t look at him.

“Your husband?” Damon asked.

Marley nodded. “Yeah. That’s why I need to tell the children, they would love to hear it.”

Damon nodded. “Okay, but I have one question though.”

“Yeah.” Marley frowned.

“Did our kiss mean anything?” Damon asked.

“Of course it does, Damon.” Marley replied. “You don’t need to be suspicious about it.”

Damon nodded. “Its just in my nature ever since with Katherine.”

“I know, Damon.” Marley told him. “I remember every word you said about her. But I most tell you, Alec will always have a special place in mine heart but he died of old age. I will always love him, but he died, like I said of old age and I have made room for someone else and that is you, Damon. You! If you don’t believe me, I can show you my dream, if you want?”

Damon looked at her. “I believe you.” Then, he came closer and kissed her. “I belief every word what you just said.”

“Thank you.” Marley smiled at him.
