Epilogue

Serafina' POV

I was being squeezed into a green dress. Don't get me wrong, the dress is very beautiful but oh goddess is is tight. I look good in it. Just can't breathe much. My make up is on fleek. My hair is done, my hair is let down and curled a bit. Heels in check, I have only learned recently how to walk in them and hopefuly I will not die in them or embarrass myself in front of many royals, the lycans and the Black kingdom's citizens.

It is my coronation, our coronation. We will be announced as the new king and queen. It is also the moon goddess celebration, just like the council had planned. The vampires and witches had gotten their own covens, that are scouted around the kingdoms. Each werewolf ruler had agreed to have at least one vampire and one witch coven in their kingdom, some had two or three. Still the amount of covens and the number of members were not a lot, since the war did make their numbers smaller but they have the time to reproduce. Maybe in the future their numbers will be close to the ones before the all kingdom war.

After I was doing being made beautiful for the ceremony and the ball after. I was being led to the room where everyone was and where the king and queen's thrones were at. I met up with Magnus right before the grand entrance door. We took hooked our hands together and as my mother's voice was her of the start of the ceremony, the doors were being opened and we walked in.

Everyone was standing and waiting for our vows and completing the ceremony to then begin the party. We walked to the thrones, the current king and queen were siting, Magnus's parents. They stood up and walked to the side. My mother spoke some words and Magnus was first to vow his promise to the kingdom as a new king. Then I was to do the same.

"I, Serafina Marshall. A born female lycan, promise the kingdom of the Black to be the best queen and fulfil my promises and duties as one. I am ready to take the weight of the kingdom and help it out." After my words, the crowns were being taken from the former rulers heads and being placed onto ours. We rose up and looked at the quest of tonight. We were officially announced as queen and king. Everyone filled the space with cheers. We sat down on the thrones. The celebration of ours and the moon goddess began.

Today we were blessed by the moon godess and I hope it is a good sign for us. Magnus pulled me into the middle to do the dance. I practiced it a lot this whole month. Heels, moves and head, dont let me down right now. We strode through the dance floor, others joined in. Both of our hard work to make this dance as perfect paid off. I remembered the first lesson we had, we both were bad. I thought he might not be that bad as he has been a prince his whole life, I was wrong.

After the dance, my mate pulled me to a balcony, for some privacy as he said. Once the balcony's door closed he gently kissed my lips. Got me closer to him as his hand rested on my side of the waist. It was tingling there. The kiss got heated and later we had to pull apart to catch our breathes, rested our foreheads to each others. The fire works began and he got me into a hug from behind my back as we watch the magical show in the sky. This day was amazing, even though we still have so much time to party.

It still feel surreal I am a queen now. Everything just feels like a dream and one day I'll wake up to know everything was not real. Its like everything feels surreal but real at the same time. I guess just my life got flipped ever since Freya found me and I've been thanking her for months now for it. Without her I might have never been here. Maybe the moon goddess knew I will end up like where I am right now.

It was colder outside so we didn't stay that long, after the firework show was done we all got inside and continued the ball. I found Sarabeth and Tristan in the corner where the food was being served. Some vampires and witches were present here, well the heads of each coven were. Tristan and Sarabeth decided to be more involve in the Capital with the council. So they are not in any of the covens. But important ones. We said hellos and they told their congratulations on us. Tristan asked if he could have a dance with me and I first looked at Magnus who shook his head in approval and I was being taken again tot he dance floor. I noticed that Magnus took Sarabeth as his dance partner for this dance.

After dance me and Magnus reunited. We sat down on the thrones. Many other royals had walked near us and told their congrats with wishes coming from them. After this parade of royals was done, I noticed that my mate was being a bit tense. I asked what was wrong and he answered the he was afraid his sister were planing on some sort of prank. I heard of his town sisters Rose and Dawn Black being prankster but I wouldn't think they would do anything today, at such event. But again I dont really know them as much. Less than a year ago I met them.

Some time later we decided to call it quits for the night and go back to our bedroom. As we walked up the stairs to our wings side, it was pitch black. No light were on. Weird. We heard some footsteps coming in the direction of the bedroom. That is when in the moonlight's shining from the window nearby two wolfs came into view. I recognized them as the twin princesses.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in bed?" Even though I knew they could be awake even way past midnight today.

"We wanted to scare you both but I guess it didn't really work out. But watch out for next time then." The older twin spoke and both giggling walked back to the ball room to find anymore pranks they could pull off. We walked into the bedroom.

Magnus helped me unzip the dress, we got into our pjs and rolled into bed. The full moon was shining brightly in the sky, no clouds this night. We didn't want to sleep yet so we started to talk about the future. About having our own family, the future plans on the changes we might be able to make for the kingdom and the others. We had quite some plans. We had made some changes or adaptions already, that includes the vampires and the witches. Thought this decision was made with the council and other royals, we both were the most involved in this process.

With Freya I had been meeting quite often as she was responsible for the covens to be built and being taken care of. With Marley I was mostly seeing when I was doing business with the council, she works for them so no surprise. Sarabeth and Tristan, we would meet up and make decision regarding their species. So the two species could finally coexist in this world with us. The rogue situation remained the same. No changes were needed for now, ever since Magnus's mother had done the changes with them, everything been smooth. They didn't mind the vampires and witches. The rogue land doesn't have any covens yet, well that is for the future to know if there will any covens scouted around the rogue land as well. We just dont have the number to do that. Nor is it very needed. If rogue will not want this to happen, then fine with us.

From tomorrow my duties truly will start. I am a bit scared but excited at the same time. I've been training with the former queen for months to be prepared for this. But I think nobody can prepare anyone full for this job. There is always surprises coming anytime.

My lycan and I are very grateful for all of this, I am happy to have found my mate. He was happy with us. We culled up and did a run of goodnight kisses before deciding it was enough for tonight and glided into a beautiful, comfy with dreams filled sleep. As waiting for what is to come for the future of ours, maybe more enemies who are hiding, I dont know. My old life tin the rogue land might come to stab me in the back or not. There is no way of telling.
