No one's POV

The young witch has been practicing all kinds of spells for hours now. The spell books she'd received had helped her a lot. She knew the spells the evil witch had taught them although she doesn't know the new spells they could have learned while she was here. So she focused on combat spells and the most likely ones the others were being taught at the cave.

Sometimes her mind would wonder to the other witches she left at the mercy of the evil witch. Sarabeth even felt guilty but Tristan always tried to reassure her that the others will be free, especially if the werewolves and lycans win. So it is why they both were training themselves hard. Needless to say, they were both being watched by the werewolf officers all the time. Expect then they are in their own rooms. The council was very kind in letting both of them to meet up, usually during breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Today in the morning they both noticed something was off during breakfast. The officers seemed to be pacing around a lot and looking as if they both need to hurry with their eating. So why couldn't they just say that out loud. Well the vampire and the witch ate their food quickly and the officers guided them to the outside of the building and being met with a car in front of them. They got inside and drove to the council's building.

Strangely enough, there were werewolf royals walking in the same direction they were being guided to. Both noticed Freya and Serafina amongst them. Something was definitely about to happen. Everyone got to their seat and waited for the council to show up. Everyone started to chat with the nearest ones to them.

"What do you think it is about today. It was so urgent that we had to meet this early in the morning." Tristan overheard with his good vampire hearing. He told this to Sarabeth.

"Thank you everyone for coming this quickly and we are sort for noticing you all this early but it is very urgent." Everyone quiet down when one of the council member started to speak.

"As you may know the evil witch has been sending us messages all eve the kingdoms and this night was no different except for that the message said this time. The sign said "The war will begin after two sunsets. Be ready." And you know what that means to us too. Each kingdom needs to send a legion to the Capital. We got the wars coordinates this morning that was sent by the witch herself. The war will be set at the outskirts of the Capital towards the west side. We will be very thankful if you send out as many legions as you can. And also be present here as well. Tomorrow everyone should be here so that the next day after dawn we have to be where the coordinates said so. I hope you all are ready to give it all. We lycans will also be present in this war. We hope that it will be our last one with the evil witch. We will show her we are better than her."

So many royals were talking to each other about their warriors. Then the meeting took a turn about questions and other few matters. This wasn't taking so long.

"Thank you all for coming and you may all be dismissed."

Everyone rose form their seats and walked out of the meetig room. Sarabeth and Tristan were able to talk bit with Freya and Serafina after everyone left. They just talk about how everyone was doing and anything new had happened throughout those days they ave not seen each other. For the witch and the vampire it felt good to talk to someone they knew, even if not that much but trusted both the woman a lot. But even their happy conversation had to be over and both the girl and the boy had to go back to their rooms to prepare for a another training session. Maybe the last one before the war.

Tristan got ready for his training and walked to the training grounds with the guards following him behind. His training always included to run fast and eliminate targets that sometimes would move and use his senses to feel around so that a werewolf would go and hit him with a stick or other weapons, most of the time bare hand or even being shifted into the wolf form. The vampire liked his training a lot. He had learned up to use his abilities well. So for the battle he should be more than ready. He would worry that Sarabeth wasn't prepared physically to battle hime him, so he promised himself to protect her and be by her side most of the battle.

He was happy that the warriors who were training with him were not afraid of him. He was scared that they would not like to be near him but he earned his small reputation. Of course he knew that the messages that the evil witch made were also involving a vampire to kill an innocent werewolf. He knew how his kind was going to be scared to go out because of the forced actions they had to do. The vampire was determined to win this war. So that is why today he asked to train a bit more and on a harder level.

Two werewolf warriors shifted and a few took the sticks and started to approach the vampire. Then a wolf was very close to him, he dug down and slid past it but was also able to sense a stick being thrown in his way which he stopped it before it would have hit his face. Took this as an opportunity to with full strength of his to swing the stick dn the warrior over and knock the wolf over that was approaching behind his back. Tristan liked a bit of a challenge and it seems that the warriors were putting one for him today.

The training was tuff but he was exhausted in a good way. Got to his room, took a shower and spend a bit of time in his room by watching tv before being told it was lunch time and he was able to meet with Sarabeth. He wanted to talk to her about the upcoming war but he needed privacy for that so after lunch he'll ask the guards if they both could talk alone in his room.

The guards allowed this to happen dn the witch and the vampire were left alone in the room of Tristan's.

"You know how the war is going to happen soon. I want you to know that I will protect you with all I got."

"I will do the same." Sarabeth answered.

"You are my friend. I know that the times in the cave were something I wish to forget but the others were in there longer and I am scared of how they will have to adapt to here." The witch continued.

"Everything will be fine. We have been fine so the rest will be too. Dont worry, we have to trust the council with this."

The vampire scooted over to the witch and pulled her into a hug. The witch needed that comfort of someone. She hasn't received it since they left the cave and never been back. She misses a few witches already. She made a few of them she called friends and hopes they would survive the war. Tristan was more antisocial with the other vampires, not like all of them really spoke with each other. They were the more quiet ones. Witches were more warmer than vampires in general as of in nature. So it wasn't so surprising. But that Tristan found a comfort of having a friendship with a witch something he lacked and was more than happy to have made Sarabeth his friend and her accepting it.

They stayed like that for sometime before deciding that Sarabeth needed to go and finish up her training with the spells. Then Tristan was left alone, he turned up the tv and watched a few movies to pass his time, while the witch was practicing some spells but Laos decided to go for a physical training which she requested to the guards to be made.

Sarabeth walked into the training grounds which were earlier used by the vampire. She ran a couple rounds around the room, stretched and hit some tactics of combat form the warriors which helped her. She knew that this once session is nowhere near enough but still one training is something. For the worst near as the battle is. She used her time there as much as she could. You never knew when she would need to resolve on combat and not spells to defend herself or others.

It was a very tiring training session but a very rewarding one. She felt accomplished for today and went to her room with a happy expression decorating her face.
