Magnus's POV

The trip day came. I packed my things, met up with Marley and both of us went to the train station, from there we are going to travel to the closet stop to the boarder in south the train can get to. Almost everyone who had to go on the trip were waiting. I did notice that many were not liking this, very early in the morning and go to the feast that we don't even celebrate. Though after waiting for thirty minutes we all were in the train and rolling to the south.

The week went pretty fast and our last town was up on the east. The second to last day of the feast. The other towns were not bad at all. I was quite surprised how differently the four directions celebrate the same feast. my favorite one was in the west, near the sea. The variety of fishes we ate, even the dances were great. It was my favored because of the sea mainly. Even if you could still hear the music playing, near the sea it was very faintly heard. The wind blew a chilly breeze. I felt relaxed there. And I was not liking to leave it so soon, I would have loved to stay there for a couple more days.

The day we arrived at the east town where we are going to stay for the day and see the feast. The town seemed to be very crowded. As it should be. The shops had discounts because of the feast. The smell of food was lingering in the air. Music was also heard as any other town we visited. Each town still was different from each other in some ways. The food was one of those things. Another thing was dancing, traditions and a few more things.

Marley was one of those who really enjoyed the trip so far. I guess she is always in the books and now she has let's just say real experience outside the books and our territories. Though all of us were tired of the trip, we tried not to kill the spirit and we pretended to be very excited for the last day. I hope it will not disappoint.

We started it of with a small history lesson on what happened to this town specifically and what they did during the difficult time. They prepared a small stage in the town's center. From there the performance went. The performance started when the lights lit up the stage and a few actors came on it. They stood their poses and only started to act when the music started to play and the narrator began telling the tale. The actors showed the story to us while we heard the tale, the actors never spoke, they didn't need to. I will say I've never seen something like this or heard, let alone experienced. I like it very much and the others seemed to enjoy it as well.

After the performance was over, we went to look where we could eat. We settled on a restaurant that seemed to be not crowded and had enough space for all of us to be there. The waiters were very nice to us. Just like all throughout the trip. We never heard or saw anyone being disrespectful or bad to us. Some might not know we are royals, not just simple werewolves who came here to see the feast. But the whole trip definitely did not disappoint though.

The food was great at the restaurant. Then we continued by going along the main street. Bought some souvenirs and gifts. I bought two sea shell necklaces for both of my sisters in the west town. I think they are going to like the gift. Here they had things like the costume pieces the actors wore for the performance and I could tell that the theater type things are popular here. But in terms of what the all directions had in common, not related to the feast was cage fighting. The east is the second best before north being in the top. I've never seen cage fighting as we don't have that. I would like to see one though. I remember when I was younger when we stayed at the house we have in the north as a vacation place, I used to beg my parents to let me see the cage fights, but they always denied to get me there, even when I was a teenager. At some point I had a plan to one night to sneak into one, but never done it. This day or the trip would have been an opportunity, but we are always on a schedule and we always have to stick together and we never get to explore more if we wanted to.

Well at least I tried not to get sad because of it, but I did like where we went, so it wasn't so bad after all. The feast as it is because of food problems, the stalls were full of so much food. It's like everywhere you looked you were basically only seeing food being the center of attention.

Suddenly while walking down the street I caught this very interesting scent lingering faintly in the air. Because it was not very strong I could not know where it was coming from, but I liked that scent very much. My wolf wanted for me to find the scent, but I knew that was not very possible. I gave up immediately on the idea to find it. As I also could not go away from the group.

Our trip finally came to an end. We were heading back to the nearest train station in the east of our territory. When on the train my thoughts went back to that scent I caught and really liked. I don't know why I liked it. But it did make me wonder why. Marley pulled me out of my own head and we started to talk about the trip. She was the one who talked the most. She wasn't one of those who talks much or at least she does when she knows you enough and feels good while being with someone. We never even had a thought of each other, other than friends.

When the train stopped at the Capital the sun began to rise, morning slowly creeped onto the city. We traveled through the entire night almost, well when we reached the first train station it was maybe a few hours past midnight. A car was waiting for me. Me and Marley said goodbyes to each other and I went inside the car. Drove home.

Once I went to my room I crashed onto the bed and fell asleep. But my beauty sleep did not last long and I was awakened by my own mother. She had a mischievous smile on her face. I hope she doesn't want to kill me or something the way she is looking at me right now.

"Good morning", I said to her while yawning.

"Glad to know you are finally home. We missed you. You know."

I still slowly opened my eyes as it was hard to adjust to the sun as my mother removed the curtains from the windows. Afterwards she left me and before leaving she pointed to a tray of food, breakfast on my desk. I didn't really want to get out of bed, I wanted to go back to sleep. But I guess my own mother won't allow that today. So, I got up from the bed, got dressed, ate the food and went on with my day.
