𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐤𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 1968 - 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐫. she had lived her life proud, like she had promised before her life finally gave up on itself at aged sixty-eight. once she had passed, it was her husband who found her body, but he wasn't angry, he knew that she had lived her life to it's best potential but now that she is in peace.

she had done a lot in those fifty years - she went to university and studied general history. she had grown into a woman, gotten married to a british man who made her happy in 1925, moving to london to be with him and they stayed together until her last breath. she had two children who she loved with everything in her heart, a son in 1928 and a daughter in 1930. her children always reminded her of the people she once knew, she always thought that her daughter especially reminded her of olga, while her eldest, her son, reminded her of the boys. she loved motherhood, watching her children grow up in confident and ambitious people who she was proud of.

although her life was never perfect, she pushed on, finding new reasons to live everyday, whether that was memories or her family.

she often wondered to herself whether they would be proud of her. whether they were watching over her every move, helping her make her own decisions. those were the people that shaped the person she later became in adulthood.

she lived through the second world war, her husband had gone to fight but came back after around a year after a serious leg injury, not that she cared, as long as he was safe. she couldn't loose more.

she never forgot about paul, she never forgot about any of them. she remembered the moment when she realised that she couldn't remember what they sounded like, before soon forgetting what they looked like. she remembers crying about it before convincing herself that it would be ok. as long as she has the memory - she could deal without knowing what they looked or sounded like.

she lived for those who passed. she lived for those who lost people. she lived for paul. she lived the olga. for victoria and kat. for albert, franz and tjaden. all of them.

and that was enough for her.
