Jake had decided to continue being my bodyguard despite his broken leg, which I appreciated, but I could see that it was taking a toll on him. He had to use crutches and couldn't put any weight on his leg, which made it difficult for him to move around. He still had to accompany me to school and protect me 24/7, but I could tell that it was getting harder for him every day.

I tried to help him as much as I could, but I knew that the doctor had told him to rest and that he wasn't doing that because he had to follow me around. When the summer holidays finally started, I was relieved that Jake could get some rest.

But my dad was still furious at Jake and wanted to make him suffer. He booked a trip to Hawaii for us, and when we arrived at the airport, he told Jake to carry all the luggage, which seemed impossible because of his crutches.

I was furious with my dad for treating Jake like this. I knew that Jake was already going through a lot of pain and stress, and my dad was only making things worse. But Jake just smiled and said that he could handle it.

We made it through the airport, and Jake managed to carry all of our luggage to the hotel. I could see that he was exhausted, but he didn't complain. He was determined to keep going, no matter what.

Despite everything that had happened, I knew that Jake was still my loyal and dedicated bodyguard. And I was grateful to have him by my side, even if it meant that he had to suffer through his pain and injuries.
