When we arrived at the hotel in Hawaii, I was shocked when my dad revealed that he hadn't bought a room for Jake. It turned out that my father hadn't been paying Jake enough, so he couldn't afford a room. I felt bad for him, but luckily, I had a room to myself, so I snuck him in overnight. I wanted to let him sleep in the bed with me, but he refused, saying that he was my bodyguard and not allowed to do that.

However, I knew that he was still in a lot of pain, so I insisted that he sleep in the bed, and I offered to sleep on the floor. Eventually, Jake changed his mind and said that we could sleep in the bed together if nobody noticed. That night, I cuddled up to him, thinking that he was asleep, but little did I know that he was actually wide awake and in a lot of pain.

The next morning, my dad found out that Jake had slept in my room, and he wasn't happy about it. He decided take us on a surfing trip that day (even tough he knew that Jakes cast couldn't get wet). At first, he walked to the beach in a really fast pace, which made it hard for Jake to keep up. Despite his broken leg, Jake did his best to keep up with us, and he never complained or asked for a break. I could see that he was in a lot of pain, but he never let it show. I admired him for his dedication to his job, and I was grateful for everything he had done for me.
