"You know, the first dropship is gonna come down soon. Pretty sure you can't avoid Jaha forever." Clark tried to make conversation as we walked in silence.
"I can try."
"The depot is supposed to be around here somewhere. There's got to be a door." I speak up trying to steer away from the personal conversation.
"Maybe he'll be lenient." Clark continues.
"Look. I shot the man, Clark. He's not just gonna forgive and forget!" He says rather irritated with the subject.
"-How about we just split up? That way we'll cover more ground." I interrupt again looking at both of them for confirmation. "Great. Yell if you're being killed or you find something." I walk off to the left as I start searching for the depot. We needed to find a good shelter or else we'd freeze to death. A long while passed until someone finally yelled. Hopefully, they weren't dying.
"Bellamy! Kate! Over here. I found a door." Both of us make our way toward Clark who was crouching by the bunker's hatch. I move over and try to pull it open but its no use.
"Ugh!- Its rusted shut." I give up on pulling it.
"Here. Watch your foot." Bellamy moves me aside gently as he takes out his axe and starts slamming it onto the hatch door, until it was finally loose enough to open.
"Okay."
"Give me a hand." Bellamy askes as he tries to lift it up on his own. I put our diferences aside for now and help him.
"Oh! Great you did it." Clark exclaims as we open the door. She went in first then me and last one in was Bellamy. "Here." Clark hands us flash lights as we look around the dusty bunker.
"Really think this place hasn't been touched since the war?" Bellamy asked skeptically.
"A girl can dream. Come on." They walk further in, almost cringing at the sight of a skeleton with ragged clothing on it on the stairs.
"Hell of a place to die." I joked morbidly. The other two didn't seem to like my joke.
"So much for living down here. This place is disgusting." Clark eyes everything wearily as we kept walking further into the nasty bunker.
"Damn it. Anything left down here is ruined." Bellamy says as he checks some empty containers.
"They must have distributed most of the supplies before the last bomb went off." We kept on cheking and were coming up empty handed. Everything was either ruined or useless.
"Hey, I found blankets!" I say excited to have finally found something useable. Clark looks back at me exitedly as she moves to check the blankets.
"These will be great for the cold!"
"Excited about a couple of blankets?" Bellamy dampens the mood.
"Well its better than nothing." I scoff as I watch him continue searching for better things.
