Scared of dying to have never known love
To be stuck in an endless dark void
Where the warmth of another's embrace
Was a forgotten thing of which I had no joy
Loneliness an eternal close companion
Echoing for all time in this void of mine
A million unheard cries for love so brightly burning
Never to be laid to rest, never to be finally seen
Scared of dying before its ever taken hold
And love lasts no longer than moments of the past
For my dreams of love, had I but lived
No longer dreams, but come to be true
But if I die before then, all hopes left gone
As with my life, my dreams alone too gone
