3 dear wives now I've come across,
how can one heart truly give love to so many?
Lucky I am to find them,
and hold fast with affection my every aloof one.
If I'd met them before in a past life or in this-
at least that's what I'd like to believe-
to love and be with three
the greatest gift I could ever conceive.
Three corners of a perfect home my heart could create,
as distinct and individual as ever can be.
And, yet, the warmth of a unity all around I could gleam,
as the one who loved them all, imagined a life at sea.
For in the beauty of this bond and their lives all combined,
out of my soul I'd be able to stand tall.
Through all of their various surprises,
I could never think of a way that I'd enjoy it more if I'd had just one.
So, a thankful heart do I share
for finding each one of these wives I adore.
