WARNING: CRINGE AHEAD (but at least i have provided a chapter :) )

Felix wasn't at school on Monday. That worried me. Felix never missed school. Not since...not since those weeks he was stuck as a dog.

Oh. No.

I sent him a text secretly when my English teacher looked away, and tapped my leg nervously as I waited for a response. Nothing.

All day at school I couldn't focus, worried about my boyfriend who could've gotten himself in a bad situation or worse, dead. Who knew what would happen if he was caught transforming as a dog, or as a dog, or maybe he was on his way to school and got in a car crash or maybe he was really ill and wasn't going to live through it or-

"Sam!" Emmy shouted, snapping in my face. I blinked and broke out of my trance, finding myself on the sidewalk leading to my house. School was over?

"Sorry, Ems, I'm just worried about Felix..." I sighed, rubbing my eyes.

She scrunched up her face and looked at me in confusion and annoyance. "Then why don't you go check on him?"

I sprinted off in the opposite direction.

"Felix?" I whispered, peering into his dark room. I shivered, my eyes nervously darting around to see if I could find him. His front door was unlocked and food was left uneaten on the table. Looked like a scene out of a murder investigation. I did not want to find my boyfriend if it was.

A cough from the corner of his room.

"Felix!" I said, overcome by joy. I rushed over to the hunched over figure that was my alive boyfriend, expecting open arms.

I received a kick to the stomach, sending me flying across the room.

"Fuck! Sam, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that." Felix exclaimed with a different tone to his voice from his corner. "Are you okay?"

I grunted, hugging my sides and sitting up. "I'll manage. What's wrong?"

He groaned, huddling deeper into the blanket that was pulled around him. "Not sure. Stay away though. I-no, it's nothing."

I steadied myself and scooted across the floor to sit on his bed, inhaling and exhaling carefully to not injure myself further. "Talk to me, Felix."

He coughed again.

"I feel...awful," he spat out, hugging the blanket closer. "I can't eat, can't focus, have this burning sensation to pee everywhere...WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?"

I couldn't help but laugh, which was very mean of me. I switched on a lamp in his room, hoping to see if he was mad once I was done laughing. He was giving me a death stare.

"I-I'm sorry Felix," I said, still chuckling, "but you have a burning sensation to pee everywhere?"

"Turn the lamp back off." he commanded, voice slightly raspy.

"Why?"

"Sam...just turn it off."

I let out a huff and followed his order.

"Happy?"

"Thanks."

"So you have no idea what's wrong?"

"Nope."

I hummed and tried to use my brain. "Hmm what could it be..."

He wiggled to get comfortable in his blanket, reminding me of a dog.

"Felix. Does this have anything to do with your dog transformation thing?"

He paused, giving it some thought.

"Wait, you might be onto something," he said, tilting his head. "Look it up for me, my phone is charging."

I whipped out my phone, googling his odd symptoms.

"Cancer, liver problems, kidney failure, dental disease, sickness, anxiety, fear-"

"Okay, okay, Sam. Is that about my non-eating symptom?"

"Yeah."

"Try looking up all my symptoms together. I don't think I'm dying or sick."

I nodded, then paused and looked back up at him. "Then what's with the coughing?"

"My voice is all messed up, not sure why, so I try to fix it by coughing."

"Uh, interesting I guess."

I searched for a little while but couldn't find anything specific.

"Felix, is that all the symptoms?"

Silence.

"Bitch," I muttered, standing up and starting to walk towards him.

He scrambled away, panting and coughing. "Sam- Sam, no, no, don't, stay back-"

A smirk slipped onto my face. "Going to tell me what else you're feeling right now, Felix?" I purred, walking faster.

"Sam, don't test me," he said huskily, face flushed.

I stopped in my tracks. "Oh my god, you're in heat."

I could see him now, the open doorway spilling light on his dilated pupils and heavily lidded eyes. His chest was heaving, and he was definitely sweating. He erotically licked his lips and stared at me, lust filling his eyes.

I immediately blushed, knowing why he wanted me away from him. He wanted to fuck me.

Like, badly.

"Is that what this is?" he murmured, eyes tantalizingly looking me up and down.

I felt shivers go up my spine and backed slowly away, laughing nervously to diffuse the sexual tension. It did not diffuse.

He, instead, got up and started walking towards me. It was my turn to scramble back but this time a bed interrupted my scrambling before I got far. I crashed onto it, taking quick breaths and scooting backwards across it. The predatory look in his eyes scared me but also excited me.

"Fe-Felixxx, stay backkkk, this isn't very funnyyyy," I sputtered in warning.

Nothing was behind those eyes. I need to get out of here or I'll be eaten alive, I thought, trying to get away. I was frozen though. Out of fear? Probably.

Felix slid carefully on the bed, sending shivers through my whole body. I could feel him and see him slowly get closer, then finally end up framing my head, breathing heavily above me. My breath hitched and I regained feeling in my body. I struggled to get away but he quickly grabbed my wrists and held me down. Fuuuuuuuckkkk. I'm fucked. Literally.

"Bad boy." I said harshly in a last effort of some sort.

His face fell.

I felt his muscles tense up and his hands dropped away from my wrists. He backed up off me, sitting back down on the bed.

It took me a good minute to register what had happened, and when I did, I started chuckling out of relief.

I sat up, my whole body shaking, and glanced at Felix. His eyes were wide and it seemed as though he was trying to figure out what had happened.

"D-Did I just-"

"Yeah." I finished for him, trying to relax a little.

"Sam, I'm so sorry I...I don't know what happened..."

I let out a shaky sigh. "I'm not quite sure either. I'm guessing your dog side took over or something. What're we going to do if this doesn't go away?" I asked, tilting my head.

"I-I don't know," he replied, fear clouding over his wide eyes.

I wiggled closer to him, making him flinch back, and took his hand.

"Look at me. I'm fine. Felix, that wasn't your fault. Listen, we'll figure this out, okay? Together."

"Okay, Sam. Okay."
