"Take care of my Akshu, Sharma Ji... I'm going back to Udaipur. She doesn't want me near her... she still hates me," Abhimanyu said, his voice heavy with pain.
"She doesn't hate you, Abhimanyu," Abhinav replied gently. "She just doesn't understand why her Abhi did this to her. She still loves you—more than before, even if she refuses to admit it."
Abhimanyu let out a hollow laugh. "You are saying this, not her. If she wanted me, she would have stopped me herself." His voice wavered. "Help her move on, Sharma Ji..."
"You're misunderstanding, Abhimanyu—"
"Whatever it is, she doesn't want me around... and I'll respect that." He swallowed hard, forcing himself to look away. "I just hope you take care of Akshara... for the rest of her life." With that, he turned and walked away.
Abhinav watched him leave, torn between his own feelings and Akshara's unspoken love for Abhimanyu. He hesitated only for a moment before rushing toward Akshara's house.
"Akshara Ji! Bhai ji is leaving... he's going back to Udaipur!" Abhinav burst in, breathless. "Please, stop him! I know your heart still beats for him. You have to stop him before it's too late!"
Akshara, who had been wiping away silent tears, froze. "W-what are you saying?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
"You know exactly what I'm saying." Abhinav's voice softened. "Come with me... I'll take you to the airport."
She hesitated, her heart warring with her mind, but then she saw the raw desperation in Abhinav's eyes—he wasn't just saying this for Abhimanyu, he was saying it for her.
Without another thought, she ran with him.
—
At the airport, Abhimanyu walked toward the boarding gate, every step feeling heavier than the last. Just as he was about to disappear from sight—
"ABHI!"
His heart stopped.
Slowly, he turned around.
"Akshu..."
She ran toward him, breathless, her eyes glistening with tears. He barely had a second to react before she crashed into his arms. He instinctively wrapped his arms around her, holding her as tightly as he could.
"I love you, Abhi!" she cried against his chest. "I love you!"
Abhimanyu squeezed his eyes shut, the weight of all his mistakes crushing him. "I love you too, Akshu. Forever. And I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."
The sound of Tujhse Ruhdaariyan played softly in the background as they clung to each other, their past shattering into a thousand pieces, leaving only the present—their love, raw and unbreakable.
"That's it, Abhi," she whispered, her fingers tightening on his shirt. "No more looking back. No more regrets. We'll focus on us—on our future."
He pulled back just enough to cup her face. "Are you sure?"
She nodded. "I've never been more sure of anything in my life."
Behind them, Abhinav watched silently. A small, bittersweet smile played on his lips. "Kaash main Akshara ji ko bata paata ki main unse... khair..." He swallowed the lump in his throat. Tears pricked his eyes, but he quickly wiped them away. "You should be happy, Abhinav... Akshara ji is happy. That's all that matters, right?"
Abhimanyu gently wiped away Akshara's tears. "Let's go home?"
She smiled, nodding. "Let's go home."
—
Back in Udaipur, Akshara and Abhimanyu announced their pregnancy. Manjari, with tears in her eyes, stepped forward and took Akshara's hands in hers.
"I was wrong, Akshara," she whispered, her voice thick with guilt. "I made mistakes... but this time, I won't repeat them. Welcome home, beta."
Akshara smiled, her eyes welling up. For the first time in years, she truly felt at home.
But this time, she and Abhimanyu made a decision—they would build their own home, away from past complications, away from the shadows of misunderstandings. They wanted a fresh start, a place where they could nurture their love and their child without any interference.
Understanding their choice, Manjari supported them with a heavy heart, realizing that love sometimes needed space to thrive.
Months later, they welcomed their son—Abhir.
A symbol of their love. A symbol of their second chance.
In their own home, just the three of them, they finally lived the life they had always dreamed of—together.
